OK SO CRAZY BM SUPPOSEDLY JUST TAKES OFF AND GOES TO ALABAMA?

Leaves the 15 year old alone from Wednesday- Monday
Drops the 10 year old off Wedneday with his father.
We have no idea where 4 year old SS has been dropped off.

Supposedly she told the baby daddy of the 10 year old that she would need to drop him off early Wednesday [normally they get him Friday] because she's going to a funeral in Alabama-

DH texted her several times to ask for his 4 year old to call him to no avail, he never rec'd a call or text back.

Last night the 10 year old's dad gets a call saying that CBM'S flight was delayed coming back home and that he can drop his 10 year old off @ home with the 15 year old or can keep him and take him to school in the morning.

We still were not aware of where the 4 year old was dumped off at.

So... I called the sheriffs dept. in their area and had them do a well check- they called me back and said the 4 yr. old is at his grandma's and that the 15 year old appears to be just fine.. THAT WAS IT.. Are you serious?!

15, and home alone that long.....C'MONNN!!! I can see for maybe, and I stress MAYBE a day.....not all night, but for that many days, and no return calls from BM....that's bad! And no notification, or being told where the other child is? Pathetic! "We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."~ Randy Pausch

Now we are 1.5hrs away and were getting all info second-hand from baby daddy #2. BM has kept SS from DH for a month now, he used to talk to SS every day 2'ce a day, now he hasn't talked to him for a month as well. She has cut all contact, which is why we are filing for custody/visitation as they were never married and there was never a court order other than child support put in place.

I just can't believe the nonchalant attitude of the sheriff's office.. It's crazy!

DH doesn't think that she even is in Alabama and says she doesn't have family there..he thinks she is probably laying up with some guy as usual and just needed to dump all the kids off..

I think they're legally allowed to leave them home alone once they're 12 yrs old...not sure for how long. That'd be interesting to find out though.

year old for 5 days. She won't let my husband see him and she won't return a text, our attorney said that we shouldn't call her. I was just picturing a 15 year old caring for the little one and having to go to school and eat etc. while she's just running the streets..

....that he was left alone to care for the younger one. That's just to much. "We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."~ Randy Pausch
