Last night DH says he's going to call Puke. He goes outside for less than 5 minutes and come back in with a look of a sad puppy.

He comes into the family room and sits on the couch with me then says it appears he's been put on the back burner. Ok, you have my attention. So I ask what he means. He says that when he calls Puke she is "busy" and can't talk or he can never get ahold of her. This is the day he knew would come.

DH went to see Puke this weekend. I enjoyed my time alone.

When DH got home yesterday afternoon he seemed so happy to be home, saying he was happy to be back to his wife. He told me several times that although he was happy to see Puke, he missed me a lot.

I finally had to ask DH when he was leaving next weekend to go see Puke and when he'd be back. He's leaving early Saturday morning which will get him there mid morning and start back Sunday around noon.

He doesn't know if Puke will stay overnight with him at the hotel or not. I doubt she will. Curious if she'll ask if a friend/BF can hang with them too as she has in the past.

I don't see the point of an 8 hour round trip drive for just a few hours with her. I was thinking he'd leaving Friday and come back Sunday night.

DH is still pushing back a bit on split finances. He wondered why I using my money for my dinner out one night. I told him that we are each responsible for our own meals when eating out. Then told him that the same is for clothing because he kept saying he needed new work shoes. He keeps saying he's trying to get used to it all. He tells me last night how much money he has left til next payday with a sad face. I didn't say anything but "yeah?".
