BM, You Deserve Mother of the Year

BM maybe gets the skids every 5-6 weekends. But I ask everyone weekend, just to be sure. 1 so she can never say we don't give her the option and 2 because she has shown up to "surprise" us before and I wanted to ring her neck.

So, I texted her.

Me- Are you getting the kids this weekends?
Her- No, only because I've got plans to go on a date.

Literally, word for word. It's so nice where her priorities lay.

What's wrong with these women? I swear, someone needs to do an expose on deadbeat BMs.

BM here told the kids she can't come get them this weekend because the dr told her not to drive...more like the DMV for not paying child support!

I can't wrap my head around it. As a bm myself, I'd die if I had to be around my child.

BM doesn't even have an excuse, she pays no child support.

Is this a dang two day long date? I mean seriously "a date" would mean a couple of hours in my mind.. what a loser

I would ask her outright if she has any interest in seeing her kids. If so, she needs to do it more often and try putting them first. I get frustrated with DH when he just doesn't ask what he is thinking....Maybe if you put her on the spot, she may feel a little guilty.

We have. Her excuse is "I deserve a life." :jawdrop: She does not work, just lives off public assistance. She has all the free time in the world.
