Really BM? You thought we'd fall for your crap? Think again!

So DH called me and said BM texted him asking if we could take the skids tonight instead of our regular Wed night. Her reason? Thursday is picture day, and she HAS to do their hair. DH told her we are perfectly capable of doing their hair. Her response? 'It's a mom thing.' Her real reason is that she doesn't want me to do it. She sucks at hair, makeup, fashion, etc. and she gets mad at skids for asking me to do their hair when they're here. Regardless, here are our issues with this stupid request:

The "Talk"

DH and I were just watching "Mom" on CBS, and I realized that it is time to have the talk with SD10. My mom began having those talks with me at that age. I let DH know that it was almost time, and he almost fell off the couch. We are hopefully getting custody of her in November. Does anyone have any advice to help me help DH with this topic later on? She and I are super close, so it will most likely be me having this talk with her. Regardless, how do we approach this with her? This is not just a question for SMs, but all parents with daughters.

Someone else did a check for Nachomamma last night. Since I just noticed that Nacho hasn't posted tonight, I got a little worried about her. Has anyone heard from her tonight?
