My hospital stay ruins BM evening

Was in the hospital last night. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and my doctor wanted me to get fluids because I contracted a pretty nasty strain of the flu. BMs reaction:

"Tell your f-ung wife thanks for being dramatic and ruining my evening. I had dinner plans. Your kids should be more important to you than that."

Included was a barrage of other harassing texts. Sooooo wish DH never had to deal with her.

Whatever happened to teaching your children to respect rules, adults and authority?

I mean, seriously, am I too old for my age, but is this right? And the mother is proud of teaching her daughter to stand up for things she doesn't think is right? So that means you don't have to follow rules you think are not right? I personally don't like speed limits. I think I'll take a stand and go 90 everywhere.

Am I alone?

I am not in the habit of looking at BM's FB page. A friend posted a pic of skids with their child and tagged me in it. The pic was of the skids in a group of kids from one of our recent excursions. This friend in also FB friends with BM. They aren't friends like we are friends where they go out and do things together, they are just FB friends. Anyway, friend tagged me in the pic, so I got all the notifications when a conversation was happening. BM pitched a fit about the picture to friend on the picture. Then someone deleted it.

Me: SS, how did you do on your practice spelling test.
SS: I didn't have a spelling test today. Mom said I didn't have to go to school since she hasn't seen me in a long time. (Bm just got back from vacation - without the kids)

Moving school districts - what would you do?

SO has recently become FDH! He will be moving into my home after we get married and it will be a great opportunity for the Skids, 4 and 6. (One of which is not even in school yet).

FDH has not told BM about the engagement as we don't feel it is any of her business apart from 30 days before we move. She, however, found out through the kids and asked FDH where the kids would go to school because "eventually" she would be moving too.

FDH did not respond as he took this as BM's opportunity to start a fight.
