SD9 is here for the weekend and brought her report card which wasn't very good. She is so smart but her grades are slipping...omg this child does not take responsibility for anything...I mean it's the teacher's fault, it's the other kids fault..it's everyone but her...omg...

My DH told her you are going to have such a hard time when you get older it's not even funny...ok..must go...

just venting...geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Here's a Question: How do you totally disengage when your Step Child lives with you full time??

I'm wondering how that is done..I've seen many posts on this site that state "not my kid not my problem" or "I've totally disengaged from my skids". I'm curious how that is done..

If you see your skids every other weekend then ok that's one thing but if they live with you full time..how is that possible?????

It's like someone has taken over my body and I am this miserable person this morning. I am so dreading having SD over this weekend. I need to give my head a shake and act like a grown up for peatsake...what the hell is wrong with me???

OMG I think SD has turned me into the Terrible SM....what gives?????

More Nonsense from BM - Advice Please

Husband calls his daughter last night and of course no one answers..so he calls cell phone and it rings and rings and finally BM picks up and hangs up..this goes on 4 times..finally an hour after this my husband calls again and BM picks up and says sorry the phone got cut off..we are in the clinic as my SD seems broke her hand or finger or something..and then BM hangs up..so frustrating..

I'd like your thoughts on this issue......

I was sitting here wondering why being a SM is so difficult...is it because being women we want control over our household..so we take over with his kids? we discipline, buy all the clothes, do the groceries, clean the house, cook, do laundry, make the doctor appointments, arrange all playdates..etc.....

I'm curious what you think because I'm starting to wonder if I should sit back and let dad raise his child and I will be the nice one that doesn't get involved and then I can be the wonderful SM....any thoughts on this would be appreciated....
