Feeling a bit conflicted over a Wedding Invitation........

ubrngoutdbitchnme's picture

I have a cousin that is getting married this July. I have not sent back our RSVP because I am feeling conflicted about how many people I should RSVP for. Should I include SD16 and SS14? I never know how they will act around others. They are teenagers now and I have noticed they can act a bit snobby around others or they can also act like little turds towards me. I have taken them along to my family parties in the past but when they were pre-teens. Back then It was A bit easier to ignore their preteen antics than it is now that they are full blown teenagers.

I need to RSVP no later than (uh) tomorrow. So ladies what would you do? My skids aren't bad kids but I never know how they are going to act towards me or around my SO and I.....

Knowing them they would probably want to go because of where the wedding is being held at. We live 4 hours away from the city it is being held at. But if I tell skids of where it is at knowing them they will say yes hoping we are going to cater to them while out there. Pass...

I would use it as a excuse to get all dressed up and have a SK free night! Date night with honey! Smile

True.....this wedding is out of state so my SO and I would get a weekend to ourselves. Okay, I will RSVP for 2 only!

The invite is addressed to my SO and I. We do have the option to RSVP for children...The one I am more concerned about acting like a turd is my SS.....

I would cut off my right arm before I brought SD out of town to a wedding when it could have possibly been just me and DH for the weekend!!!

Hell no, leave the skids home and enjoy a weekend without them!!

If you are truly blending the families and .... the Skids can behave like humans then RSVP for everyone in the family.

If the kids are animals ... drop them off at the kennel on the way to the wedding and you and DH have a good time.
