Merry Christmas Eve STalker-verse.

The skid made it in on time last evening.  All is good.  DW, the Spawn and my mom and dad were hot after the catch up visit at the butt crack of Dawn this AM.  I dozed.

My dad was interrogating SS on his work, life, .... etc.  The only thing missing was the bright spot light in SS's face.  My dad likes to know..... everything.

We just ran out the door for last possible second grocery and gift shopping.    First stop, Sprouts for some last minute low carb ingredients.  And then the miracle happened. 
 

The best Christmas gift for me..... ever!!

10 items, in, out and gone in 5mins.  I knew it was possible.  My shopping marathon Queen of a bride has been sandbagging me on shopping for 30+ years.   As we were checking out the line filled in behind us.  The young woman on the register was doing her thing.  I turned to my bride and said "This is the best gift ever.  From now on I want this kind of 5min in and gone shopping all of the time!  Thank you beautiful!"

The kid and other men all laughed, the women all gave a scowling "Ooooooooo" and DW gave me ... the look.

Same thing at  Ulta and Barnes &Noble.   In, out and on to the next.  Though she did start inspecting the book SS got for my dad.... and fondling wrapping paper.  Not a good time to tease her, but.... you know me.

Now, if this holds up for Target, Best Buy and Bass Pro Shop.... My Christmas Miracle will be complete.

Any bets on this being the new normal in Rags shopping adventures with the bride?
