Random musings
I'm starting to think I need a hobby.
Something just for me maybe..like learning how to play ukulele. Or maybe those super hard paint by numbers my grandma used to do.
I have had a reoccurring daydream over the last ten years, of myself in a long multi colored tutu, holding hands with my future daughter, in her matching tutu, on a walk together while Dad and the boys (not necessarily the skids, but FDH and them have managed to fit in this now) are chasing a shaggy collie dog to the park in front of us. And then future daughter and I break out ice cream sundaes I prepped in Nana's super fancy tea cups
While the boys wrestle and play with the dog.
My more current day dream is me patting my 8 month Pregnant belly, all super crunchy earth mama in my flip flops and pretty gauze skirts, while the boys carry all our farmer's market veggies and fruits home, where my MIL is setting everything up and letting me use her much coveted old style pressure canner to make Salas and relishes.
My FMIL is an awesome lady and seems to enjoy all my super crunchy hippy mama habits.
Am I romanticizing all this a bit much?

Lol! I wish, we are just now TTC, so I just started charting my cycle. No double lines yet!

Not truuuuueeee!!!!!
I work nights at the restaurant, sometimes not getting off until after bar time, so I'm usually awake.
Good morning back, I don't
Good morning back, I don't generally drink coffee anymore, it gives me heart burn of all things. But I 'll drink my sleepy time tea! FDH doesn't go to work for another few hours. So, I usually get up after he is off to work and then I take a nap and get up when he comes by for lunch break.
As weird as it sounds, my four hour naps seem to do me better than 8 hours of continuous sleep.
Yup! I haven't even told my
Yup! I haven't even told my Mom we are TTC and she off and sent me the kindle version of "what to expect before you're expecting" three days ago. Guess she wants grandkids.
Everyone needs a hobby. You
Everyone needs a hobby. You feel much more fulfilled. I play golf and travel and my husband and I are foodies.
Golf has been my saving grace and it is all mine. I don't share it with DH and I generally only play with ladies and we have a great time a couple days a week.
Find something that works for you.
