Thank you everyone who has read and replied to our Ya-Ya StepSistaHood. I had a wonderful time. If you have any fears, just read them again. Here are three proposed dates for another opportunity. Pick one and let me know.

September 10-12
October 17-19
October 24-26

I'm right there with you Serendipity... We're taking a trip next month and then have to pay for SD to come up here for the holidays, so no retreats for me this year.

I have to admit that there are times when I would love to tell DH that SD's trip here is a huge gift, but then the Mom side kicks in gosh darn it!

I hope this one is just as fabulous as the first one.

No can do on the first 2 weekends in Oct, because I have 4 in my family and 3 of them have birthdays between the 1-10th. I probaby can do Oct 24-26 though.

The wedding is the 10th
DH's WP sprint football reunion is the 24th

So...

The 17th is about the ONLY weekend I can try to get there in OCT!

How about that?

So plan away with my blessing for the 3rd weekend in Oct. Especially if CG is going to get there.

If SB can hook up with me I have a few options to stash one of our cars and we can take turns driving (which means less need to rest there and back.

Let's PLAN it. I can't wait to do it again!

I cant take any extra days off, but I will work a partial day on Friday the 17th and meet you somewhere

If you can leave work by noon

And meet me at my inlaws we can leave one of our cars there.

It will take a little over 5 hours (barring jackknifed overturn semi interruptions) to get to SW's area.

If we can split the driving (since it's 6 hours for me to my ILs) then I think we drive straight through.

Yipee...so glad to hear

that we have another upcoming retreat. I am off the last weekend you posted. That would work for me. I cannot take off any more time b/c I have been off all this week due to DH having a horrible accident. (I will post more about it later..... ). I cannot wait!!!! Please let me know what days you decide. I want to join the YA YA's.
