I enjoyed the summer

I enjoyed the lack of stress that having extended visits cause. I enjoyed a lower food consumption bill. I enjoyed being able to walk out in the morning in my towel to the laundry room for my work clothes.

I also missed that they are not a part of our family. I find it sad that they do not want what we have to offer.

However, since DH picked up SS today for the weekend, and SS14 gets to dictate what he wants, like oh yeah, got to go home (after practice) for my clothes, and stop by here to do this and go back to the school because I left part of my uniform. Oh, and tomorrow instead of being at teh school at 630 for a 7 game, I want to be there at 4! Now what is the problem with this???? Simple, we live 40-45 minutes away from his house and his school. What should DH do for 3 hrs???????

I understand that BM has had him all summer (or most of it), but hey when your kid has the wrong priorities say NO, you need to be with you dad instead of saying, He doesn't want to come this weekend. I understand that she is ready for a break.

But really SS, gas is almost 4.00 a gallon - running to hometown everyday isn't an option. Its EXPENSIVE. Oh, and BM says recalculate support and you don't get your reduction based on overnights since you no longer have them, give me extra money for extras, and I want your OT money included too.
