DH retired last week, SD37 is trying her hardest to run DH's life now, DH, Nope, not happening.

DH has been counting down the days until retirement and all the things that he would like to do with all his free time. My gut feeling was that Leech (SD37) was going to try her usual BS. Last Thursday was DH's last day of work, 43 years of driving a truck. We were joking around the evening, that he could sleep in and be a couch potato, surfing the channels on the TV.

I am dying here, *lol* did you know that the squeeze bottle for Kraft Mayo, Kraft Tartar sauce and Kraft Horseradish sauce are all the same shape? My home office is off of the kitchen and my oldest GS17, was banging around in the kitchen, making a snack. He made some battered fish for himself and his little brother, GS15., Neither one of these idiots read the label, they just grab the tartar sauce bottle out the refrigerator and smother the fish. Both boys are famous for wolfing down food, when they are really hungry.

My Sister in Law is the perfect example of a evil SM. she has caused so much turmoil in our family that I cut all communications off with my brother. My brother was stupid and listened to every word this bitch said, even my brother's kids from his first marriage followed her like lost sheep. I have had no contact with them for over 14 years,

I swear there are times that I think that DH doesn't have the brains that God gave a goose. This time every year, it's like the movie Groundhog Day. We live in a rural area with ten acres of land, because of all the fire dangers, we cut back a lot of the brush and overgrowth. Every year, I have to remind him to be careful in one section, due to the poison oak, and to wash his hands before going to he bathroom. Every year, DH says "Don't worry, I am fine, I don't have a problem with poison oak." IDIOT, you are mildly allergic to the stuff.

I got a promotion that I didn't even apply for. The company I work for had a big shake up starting in January, where a lot of the employees left within a 3 month time period. I am the last one of the original office personal for the office. I get to work from home, owner sent a crew over to set up all my office equipment and I am up an running.

SD35 stopped by the house today, while DH was at work. She told me her fiance had pointed out to her that she was being downright disrespectful and he didn't know if he wanted to marry someone that is so mean. So according to her, she saw the error of her ways and wanted to tell me how sorry she was. I call b*llsh*t on this, she knew he was having second thoughts and saw what a witch she is. and SD35 didn't want to lose her cash-cow. After all these years she still doesn't get it.

Sorry this is so long.
There has been a lot of tension between DH, SD35 & SGD8 over the last 9 months.

About 6 months ago, I finally grew a spine, after years of step hell. It took me months of reading on StepTalk to finally wake up and stand up for myself. I told DH that I opened another bank account in my name only and moved the $6000 that I had been saving into my new account. If he didn't like it, he was more than welcome to move the Hell out and take SD35 & SGD8 along with him.
