SD21 is mad at DH. Why? Because she spouted off some BS "fact" and DH corrected her on it. So now SD is p!ssed and DH isn't sure if she'll come over for Christmas.
I'm willing to bet my eyeteeth she WILL be here because SHE WANTS THAT GIFT CARD!

I've never expected gifts as
I've never expected gifts as an adult but my parents always give and they get SD something or give her cash. I can't afford gifts so I don't get upset if there's nothing for me under the tree.

I do wish I could've seen/heard what was going through my SD's head when she realized that she wasn't getting anything last year. She called and called, figuring DH would say, "When will you be available for us to give you your Christmas gifts?" Never happened. I guess she will know better this year!

Hereiam, the first 3 years DH and I were together, the SDs could not be bothered to come over on Christmas. Why not? Because DH didn't have money to buy gifts so they knew they were getting NOTHING. But when they found out that Evil Aniki was buying gifts for the boys and that DH got the boys small gift cards, suddenly they wanted to come for Christmas!! Greedy freakin' twunts.
