I have gone out of my way to pick out special, individual presents for birthdays and Christmas for my step-grandchildren. But my two step-daughters have gone out of their way to bad-mouth me to their very young children thus I never receive a "thank-you" phonecall or thank you note for the gifts. I feel it is disgusting in manners to not bestow on your children how to show your appreciation. I won't do it anymore after 3 years of the silent treatment. I really want to write these step-daughters and tell them how I feel. What do you think?
