How many times have I politely and calmly asked that DH's kids don't call before noon on Sundays, since it their father's only day off and a day that he likes to catch up on sleep???? They do anyway, 8am, 9am! And it's always self-absorbed crap, "Dad, question about how to fix my car". Because they want answers now! Really? You disrespect your dad enough to wake him for your selfish needs??? They don't respect him and that's obvious! I think that if your step-kids disrepect their step-parent to an evil degree, that's disrespecting their biological parent. What? It's because I expressed it to them to hold off phonecalls and allow their dad to get the much needed rest his stressful life doesn't allow him to have?? Are you kidding me????
