BM's newest story on the ringworm ...
...is "you don't want to help or do your part in healing this child." Honestly, how can she ever look in a mirror.
In the same breath she tells DH what is she supposed to do if the tube of ointment runs out? She asks all these vague stupid questions till I had to explode. Not at her. Venting to dh. The upside of that is he quietly took all my ideas and executed them without ever feeling he asked for advice or I just gave it. Plus we got to vent together. BM is the enemy, not each other. As it should be.

Fungal developments
BM was blasting Dh's phone and email all week with "poor me" crap which DH left completely unanswered. The silence must have been driving her crazy. Finally, after a fresh crop of texts, DH answered, "all I care about is ss13 right now, that he get his proper medication." That was perfect.
So after all this frippery dh called the school nurse. She did not kick the boy out of school. She said the school could, indeed, put the medicine on. So dh ended up telling me, "I regret not calling them sooner. You were right."

Fungus Part Tres or "I never wanted to divorce you"
It's been three weeks since I discovered SS13's (autistic) raging case of ringworm between all his fingers. Doc had said applying the cream 3 times a day would take care of it well within 14 days. Guess who is not applying it at her house? Oh, well, she may do it once a day but it's supposed to be 3 times.

Filthy lazy hag. Fungus update
2 Sundays ago Stepmom to the rescue discovers raging fungus on 13 year old autistic boy. Original thread here. http://www.steptalk.org/node/210213
Medicine was supposed to be put on him 3 times a day for 2 full weeks. We did this religiously at our house and bought latex gloves for ourselves to administer it to him. We also put 2 doses on him when we had him 1/2 days cuz we were both very suspicious of BM's follow through. But even knowing her I figured surely she'll put fungus medication on the boy? Surely?

Score: Action 1 Talking 0 or How DH Got It RIght
Winning the second class citizen wars over SD15 at last. Arena of battle? Adult conversation.
Sat morn I left the house early to meet a contractor at my own personal single lady house which I still have. So SD15 has dad all to herself for hours on Sat morn (and will again on Sun morning for cat volunteer work). I'm all excited about the plans contractor and I have discussed, can't wait to tell DH.

Wretched woman, get out of my life. Rant
Took SS13 with me on my errands and lunch. Driving home I think I notice something on his hand. I ask him to spread his fingers so I can see. The boy is autistic and has trouble processing language so he spread his fingers on the other hand, not the one I was looking at. Cute. But that alerted me that what I was seeing on the one hand was also present on the others.

Pear juice and dog collars and fifteen year old SDs
DH and I on the couch, 2 skids standing in the living room all watching the same movie. SD15 goes out to the kitchen, comes back eating a very ripe pear. It's juicy. Know how I know it's juicy? Cuz every so often she flicks pear juice off her fingers and on to the carpet.
This is DH's house, but it's driving me up a wall. DH can see her as well as I can. He just laughs at the movie. I'm stewing. Waiting for him to notice and say something. Does it really have to be me? every. single. time?!

A SM is at fault. Of course. Wonder what the truth is.
SD15 just announced, after looking at an incoming text, that a friend from school just had her cat put down tonight because "her stepmom fed the cat the wrong things."
The hair on the back of my neck rose on end. Knowing SD15's version of things that happen here or even at her mother's, I figure this pal of hers is about the same. It made my blood run cold to think of the conversations the two of them are having about their wicked stepmothers and how the stories they tell each other now will become cemented in their memories as truth for the rest of their lives.
Teen Queen starts wknd with insults, drives dad to SM plus BM desperately seeking more of our castle
Dh is trying to get BM to drop off the skids in the driveway and not come in the house. He has started doing it this way when he has to go to her house. She has even started standing outside waiting when he shows up.
Have to say...
...I'm typing with one hand today because I'm having a Cheeto emergency. In that I can't seem to shovel them in fast enough. Anybody else? Ah, hormones.
SD15 and BM started making noises yesterday about her staying at her mom's for the weekend so they could see a movie together. DH said is her homework done? Then the waffling and the whining started. He held firm. This whole thing takes place over a few hours with the texting, etc.
