Online School Registration
Well, I did it. With many misgivings. Registration is all online and I have the credentials set up, and get all the emails. And even set up Husband to get the same emails.
So after guiding Sd 16 B/M through the process via text and emailing all the credentials and set ups for both parents, do you think I got at least a "thank you, I appreciate your help"??????????
Check all that applies:

Oh what an awkward conversation (sort of OT)
I walked in on a conversation Husband was having with his longtime childhood friend and from the get-go it was intense. He had it on speaker phone so I heard EVERYTHING. His childhood friend (call him jimmy) was explaining a car repair issue, and that it was actually a job for his wife. Husband is a mechanic and often does side jobs for extra cash. Jimmy was also explaining that this was his soon to be ex wife, we shall call her sherry, and that he jimmy had caught sherry deep into having an affair. He had caught sherry, texting and calling and actually meeting someone.

Frustrated with Expectations
Kind of like sunny with a chance of rain...I am BOTH frustrated and having expectations...and Im trying to let go of them.
We are now starting Week #3 with SD16 B/M. She went fishing with Dad both weekends so theres that, meaning at least shes not doing NOTHING. But during the week, she is pretty much just hanging in the living room or her room.

COVID And Fathers Day
Happy Fathers Day one and all! It is a warm balmy day and Husband and SD16 B/M are out fishing with another father/daughter combo. Which is awesome. Later plans are to gather with my parents and enjoy some food and conversations in a garden setting outside in the sunshine. And all is good and right in our world, right?
Well as the title sais, there is more to this story!

Fathers Day angst 2022
Fathers day is imminent and it always seems to be filled with a certain kind of awkwardness. Like a COD (TM Child of Divorce) I have not one but two households to please. My Dad (stepdad of 50 plus years who adopted me at 16 and whose name I still hold) and Husband (together almost 10 years married almost 5).
So, last night when we were discussing his bad reaction to my reaction to SD16 B/M's summer school success, he mentioned that he "didnt want to lose SD16 like he lost sd23".

Snorts and cackles - Summer's Chool
That was me last night and oh boy did I get an earfull! This was over SD16 B/M who got a D in honors english (which I already knew about and said not a thing...) and yesterday being Monday where it starts husbands week was the first we heard of the summer school she just started. To recover from the D. But she got the D because of her last assignment she didnt turn in, because she had deleted it.

Updates JOB
Just a quick update - Sd16 is still working the job I helped connected her with. With Toxic Troll. I helped her do her first ATM deposit into her own bank account. I also, with her own money, helped set her up with an online driving class to help her get her driving permit, and explained the process with a timeline.
So, its on her. Shes already talking about looking for another different job. LOL. I knew she would not think it was very fun to work with her mother...!

J*O*B
I made a connection and SD15/16 Backstabber/Munchkin got a job. Its about 5 hours on Saturdays, selling a product at the farmers market.
She initially called my friend and told her she was sick and then called again and told her she didnt think she could do the job.
Then my friend called me, told me this Friday, and dropped a bomb. Toxic Troll took the job. I did fill my friend in on the truth of our relationship with Toxic Troll, but I also told her I knew she really needed someone to help out, and I would never dream of telling her what to do with her business.

Walking Felony
ok, Steptalkers I need your input.
For better (or worse), SD has decided to confide in me. She just "wanted my opinion" on something and I have given it, and also gave my word I wouldnt say anything because its her business.
Now Im rethinking things.
SD B/M has revealed that she has a boyfriend. Hes 18 and shes a month away from 16. She asked me "is this bad? We really want to date each other, hes a 'young' senior' and Im afraid that people will judge us as being bad" etc.

Feral Forger SD23 is having a move-ment

"Its not a big deal he said". Eff no, that is such a big deal.
"I told you a few days ago". Erm no, you must have told your BFF and THOUGHT you told me because thats a pretty big deal and I would have remembered that.
