My ss11 and ss7 are significantly overweight. Basically they are larger than 99% of children their own age... per MD. The MD asked that they watch what they eat, avoid sugar and only drink skim milk water or diet green tea because they have high lipids. My bio kids are tall and slender and really NEED to eat!! Lol. So here is my problem...for an she I changed the way our entire house ate...even at the complaints of my bios because they have been told by their pediatrician to let them each whatever they want....I did salads, low calorie selections etc.
