Reactions to expect when disengaging.

I am starting the process of disengaging from the adult stepchildren. I have told my husband that I will no longer be attending holidays, birthday parties for step grandchildren(this will be the hardest) or baby showers for stepdaughters. I told him to not even ask. I will not be sending any presents for any of this.

For those of you that have disengaged, what are some of the reactions that I can expect to deal with?

What to do now!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been an evil sm for eleven years. I have too many upsetting stories to tell you. Hopefully, I can do a long story short. I met my husband in 2000, married in 2003. I had told him that I had been divorced for four years and that he needed to be done with the old to start the new. I was with him through divorce, which was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. You see I wanted out of my first divorce so much, that I gave everything to him, so I did not go through all of the BS!!!!!
