And So It Begins...

Sunday night SS5 had a challenging dinner (which is no surprise). He is a picky eater, and SO was feeling sick so I was on my own trying to push him to finish up. I warned him if he didn't finish eating he was going to miss out on the fun of setting up the xmas tree with SS3, SO and I... 30 min later, tears and drama he finally finished it all and went up to have his bath.

I have been on Stepchat for a while now... mostly reading, responding, but not really blogging a lot. My first/only post was to ask about how others handle Parent-Teacher interviews... but I thought I would take a moment to post more about myself.

I am a self-proclaimed 32 year old Stepmother and a genuine Stepdaughter(many times over). I do not have children of my own.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

My SS's Mom thinks I am good enough to watch the kids while Dad is out of town, but when it comes to Parent-Teacher interviews, I am banned because I am not their mother. She wants Dad to go with her, because they are the parents... which I really to get to some extent. Dad doesn't want to make waves, but until she blasted him about him and I going on our own today he is now singing a different tune. It is a bitter pill to swallow.
