SD loses her college scholarship-booted out

Found out today,when we were trying to make flight arrangements for SD19 back to college after holidays...that she was booted out of her college scholarship. Of course,DH has no clue as to why she lost her scholarship. DH was beside himself & couldnt understand at all. I just LOL..she was living on an alterego that had exploded beyond belief. Now she has to live back at BM house & deal with the realities of life with BM. BM may not be able to get married to her BF now that skids are back in the house...OH WELL! DH said that he may have to pay for college ...over my dead body.

DH finds out on google that SD19 was arrested for underage drinkin

I would love to smear this in BM's face...that her daughter is not perfect.SD19 was arrested approximately 2wks after BM's parents rescued her from community college & put her into a university with their megabucks.No one ever told us anything about it.DH went thru all kinds of hell about college $$ for SD19 & then BM & her family put her into university after DH even went thru mediation that cost us a few hundred bucks.

Enjoyin snowday w/DH when he gets a call & runs to the car to drive to the next state

My day started off very nice...very happy to spend the day at home with DH-snowday! We were right in the middle of enjoyin ourselves when he actually takes a phone call-from a friend & then rushes to get dressed to drive to the next state over-150 miles to help out his friend! He apologized about 6 times & then kissed me & left. This is the first time he has ever done this to me in all the years we have been together. I just need some help in figuring out the best way to handle this...so that its the very last time this ever happens again!!

DH has become more than obsessed with SD..when he's not texting her, he's following her every move on facebook & twitter. If thats not enuf ...he watches via satellite her athletic games at her college on the computer. Its beyond me to even try to talk to him. Last night, he's sitting in bed with the laptop just laughing at all her facebook stuff. It sure doesnt promote any romance in bed!

BM needs to stick to her BF family not DH's family!

DH family cant understand why we dont come for holidays. Maybe its because BM always has to make her surprise visit when she drops off skids. Now, I dont think that some of the other step parents there would like it it the bio parent showed up by surprise. BM is always looking for handouts from DH family who cater to her every whim..its sickening!

SD & BM text DH all day..25-50 times a day!

Its so annoying when we finally get a chance to go out as a couple to spend "our money" that BM & SD text DH every few minutes. A very wise friend said to me a long time ago..that the reason they are texting & calling that much is that DH is communicating just as much back to them! How do I get my point across that this is unacceptable? BM is trying to drive home a point that she needs more money for airplane tickets & BM wont give up until she gets her way. I have told DH that Im totally turned off by all this texting & calling. DH says he is trying to be a good dad.

SS wants to fly home to stay at BM's for Thanksgiving but last time I checked its a recession...at the drop of a hat. DH said NO! SS asked in the email if you cant afford it ,then it can be my XMAS gift. I dont even get that much for a gift. DH just went to see SS in college 3 wks ago & it cost us $250. MIL wants SS to come to family holiday dinner. Of course, we arent going since she is carbon copy of BM.Im so happy that DH put his foot down. I reminded him that we dont need to go into credit debt for this.

It was FIL(big racist pig) birthday & DH went with skids to spend the weekend there. I will never step foot or communicate with them ever again.Of course, DH took skids shopping over the weekend & tried to tell me that it was extra gifts for FIL! I was happy that I was having alot of peace & quiet at home without them all.I really didnt want to hear about the weekend nor did I want to know what DH told MIL about our business. I took myself shopping over the weekend & made sure to eat out as well. It was nice that DH paid for it all! He complained - oh well!!!

Went to a dance last nite & DH is texting skids

We finally get a weekend off from SS & get out to a Halloween dance! DH is on the cell phone with SS! DH is texting the SD's about the Halloween dance too! I mean come on...how cant we enjoy ourselves for 2hrs without them? Tonite when we go out...I am goin to mention that date nite rules apply. Date nite rules are no talk about family, work & kids. Any suggestions on how I can get over the fact that the sk's & BM have to know every thing we do in life??

I hate it when DH talks down to me -same as BM!

In a conversation today with DH...he started talking down to me ..very similiar to how he talks down to BM. I put up a stink about it & he told me that he totally meant what he said. Basically, he told me that he is angry with me for cutting our grocery budget. I may have cut our food budget (just like everyone is doing in this recession) but I have been cooking my butt off. It is very disrepectful of him. I didnt mention that his budget has increased..he's going into credit debt to pay for beer, trips to see SD at college & various other extras we cant afford.
