Sorry I've been absent ladies, it's been a long hectic week. I'll be online Thursday morning reading, responding, and then will give you an update ... but in the mean time ... I gotta say ... I am beside myself. Jacob called to talk to Erik tonight, and Andrea actually gave us an extra day with Jacob ... we get him on Thursday. That ... AND ... she has supposedly drafted an email to Erik that is an attempt to work together on things about Jacob. We are supposed to get this email tonight, but it has yet to arrive.

Okay … Tuesday night BM called and left a message for DH, “I need to talk to you about SS’ dentist appointment tomorrow.” I laughed. Told DH after all this she needs you to take SS to the DDS. Sure enough … she had a work conflict and said, “I can either have BF take him or you can.” Of course DH said he’d take SS to the DDS.

As you all know I’ve been reading the “Co-Parenting Survival Guide,” by Thayer & Zimmerman. I read a couple of incredible chapters that I wanted to share with everyone this morning. I got side tracked a bit reading a novel, but am now back to “parenting” books. This might be a bit long, so I apologize for that at the onset.

Well, mixed blessings result from the hearing, and I can thank my DH for pointing out what I had missed. We didn’t get what we wanted, but we didn’t lose anything either. The judge didn’t even let BB say one word.

BB was barely on time as usual, wearing her frumpy clothes, a suit that didn’t fit right and looked like she slept in it. Her hair looked ratty and she didn’t have any make up on. She once again sat in the back of the courtroom, pursing her lips, while she sat there obviously uncomfortable, while we laughed and joked with our attorney.
