Out of the mouths of babes ...

Today while SS4 was playing in the pool, out of the blue he said, “I can run away from mommy’s house to our house, right Trina?” I didn’t indulge his thoughts, but said “if you think you can run that fast, that would be a long way to run, why don’t you call daddy instead.” He said, “and then I won’t have to see mommy ever again?” I just kind of changed the subject cuz I didn’t know what to say.

Okay, so today was SS4's open house at his school. A new company bought the place and they are implementing a new curriculum. Anyway, BB is supposed to give us information about school, but we've given up on that - I just ask whenever we pick him up if anything new has gone out. Anyway, she never told us about the open house. So, DH and I take separate cars because of the day's schedules, and as he is pulling in BB is pulling out. He waves, and she starts to waive and then gives him this "what the F are you doing here" look. He said he about fell out laughing. Just had to share.

Okay ... I have now spent more than 12 hours doing this dang Petition for Modificaiton and Motion for everything under the sun. Attorney friend suggested slaming BM with everything we got ... OMG, our declaration supporting the motion is 27 pages long, with almost 24 exhibits ... the poor commissioner. But we got BB good! The Petition to Modify didn't take that long, it was all the edits and putting together the exhibits to the declaration that was such a pain ... URGH!!!

Almost 3-weeks ago (on Sunday) I sent BB a 5-page letter. Basically it was asking her why she does the things she does, why she says the thing she does, etc. She thinks DH is a horrible father, he's not, and I asked her why she thought this. It was a bunch of questions. It was not disparaging to her in any way, and may even have been considered as "pleading" with her to understand why she isn't letting DH be the father he wants to be to SS.
