Interesting CS story.
One of my closest childhood friends and her DH won the lottery ($5mil if I remember correctly). He has a son by a previouse relationship and paid CS.
His winnings paid out annually. He got one check in March of each year for 10 years. ($500,000/Yr)
Each March he had to give his XW $180,000 in a lump sum until his winnings were paid in full. He also had to continue paying $800/mo in CS that was originally set by the court.
Once his winnings were fully paid by the state his CS went back to only the usual ~$800/mo until the kid turned 18.

O/T: Hotwire and Hotwife are only a letter apart ......
But there is a world of difference when you slip and substitute one for the other when you are trying to book tickets to go on vacation. 
At least when I get off of the plane I will have MY Hotwife waiting for me at the airport after getting off of the flight that booked on Hotwire.
That was a shocker. After a long day at the office seeing a naked woman pop up on my computer screen when I am trying to book a flight certainly woke me up.
We just got the letter from the state informing us that CS has stopped ........
because the kid failed to respond to the the CSE office's request as to whether he is going to college.
So ..... we are now out from under the CO completely. Until the kid goes back to school. If and when he starts college he can contact the CSE and they will reengage direct payroll with holding from BioDad's income.
Then .... we are still out from under the CO. The kid can deal with his dipshit BioDad over CS. Of course if BioDad gives the kid any shit at all we will engage our killer attorney to fillet BioDad's ass in court one more time.
So, how bad did I screw up?

My wife picked up the kid from his final SpermClan visitation on Friday evening. The SpermIdiot was there to drop the kid off. My wife referred to him as DH in her text notifying me that she had the kid. I cracked up since DH has a completely different meaning in STalk land than in our use of it when referring to the SpermIdiot. DH is DickHead which sounds very similar to his first name. This is the good part of the story.

Mrs R interviewed on the 4th and they made her an offer on the 5th.
She is hot, sexy, smart and EMPLOYED!!!!!!!!
Gotta LOVE that woman.
She has the most incredible work ethic.
If I had half of her work ethic I would be running the universe.
Now I have to sign off and go buy that incredible lady a HOUSE!

As of today we are out of the SpermClan interface business. Happy 18th Birthday Son!!!
Today marks the end of the custody and visitation elements of my son's (SS) Custody/Visitation/Support order.
Today is his 18th birthday. Unfortunately through the guilt trip and manipulations of the SpermGrandMa he is with them today rather than being done with them. One more week and his mom (my wife) will liberate him from SpermLand for the final time. With any luck he will never see or speak with them again.

"Crotchity" or pragmatic? You decide.
So, this past weekend my wife and my mother got on me when I expressed my less than flatering opinion of our government and their current performance.
They told me I was "crotchity" and "grumpy". :?
I told them I was not crotchity or grumpy and that I was pragmatic and focused on accountability for performance.
So ....... Crothity and Grumpy or Pragmatic.
Any thoughts?

My nephew was recounting some conversations he had with my son (SS).
This past week end I took my oldest nephew (13) to a movie. On our way to the theater he told me that my son (SS) had told him that his "Dad" played a ton of video games and it was embarrasing that at 40yo his "Dad" can't support my SS's three younger out-of-wedlock half sibs.
A third party confirmation of my son's reality based opinion of his SpermIdiot.
