DYFS and restraining orders... need advice please

Need advice for my ex SO and former SS. Ss's BM had a live in bf until around September 2012, has a baby with him. When her parents kicked the bf out he came toher house, told her to get the baby ready and give her to him, or he was going to walk into the house, shoot her father and anyone who got in his way, including my former SS2. take the baby, shoot her and then himself. He had a loaded gun in his vehicle at the time he made his that. Bm called the police, got restraining order, DYFS got involved. She was told if she contacted him she could lose her children.

Hysterical crying fits?

I know a lot of people on here have experience with normal behavioral issues as well as behavior disorders and things like that. I have a two year old daughter and I'm wondering if this is normal or possibly somethig I should get checked out. For the past year or so, she will occasionally throw a fit/ temper tantrum that is very different from normal for her. She gets hysterical, screaming and hitting and kicking and I just CANNOT seem to snap her out of it. Nothing gets through to her.

Need advice as a BM...

I'm no longer in any type of step situation, thanks mostly to this site. I was on a different account and mostly a lurker. Reading your stories showed me a lot of what to look for, and when I did look I realized it wasn't going to be a good situation for my DD or for myself. Thank you all for that! However, while I was working on financially managing on my own, moving out etc... I found out I was pregnant.
