My son is 9 and in 4th grade. He is one of the younger kids in his class and on the smaller side. The school he attends is very diverse and he is a good kid and is very aware of others feeling and of being racially sensitive. I throw this in for context. On Thursday the school councilor called me to talk about an incident on the play ground. Apparently a much larger 5th grade girl who in the councilor's own words is quite intimidating thought my son had yelled at her on the playground. Apparently he had called out to a friend.

why morons should not own pets

My ex husband had a male wiener dog who was a complete moron and would go to the bathroom in the house constantly if you didn't keep on him. I kept kept him for the first year we were divorced and he finally got a place that took pets. I always had him wear a diaper which I sent with when the ex got him back. Ex was too lazy to mess with the diaper, tells BS that I never gave it to him ( hello, they sell them at pet smart for under $20.00 if you cant find it) and let the dog pee in his apartment.

Yup that is us, positively odd. Today my former stepson 16 came over and hung out with his brother so I could go with new husband to a Dr. Appointment. New husband gave him 40.00 to fill his gas tank for doing so. Afterwards we took him and bs9 out for lunch and mini golf and go carts. Bs has not seen hi's brother since mid July as he was away working at camp and ss16 had a big blow out with ex over his crazy behavior. Any ways it was a great time hearing about his exprience as a camp councilor and upcoming school stuff.he is

I didn't want to hijack black holes blog but wanted to answer Mustang's question if this was my 2nd or 3rd marriage.

It is my third and his first. I always think that sounds horrible but I met my first husband in 94, my second in 05 and my Italian two years ago today. I am 48 next week so it is not like I married three guys in 5 years. I am self sufficient, can support myself and am totally ok being on my own... it just kind of worked out this way.

OMG I bought one of these last night for my sister for her birthday and thought of you ladies. It is a insulated clutch bag with handles for your wine and it has a little zipper pocket with a corkscrew opener. It is adorable and funny. My sister is married to a very wealthy guy so there isn't anything she needs and she is a step mom to two teenage boys and has a 4 year old so there is no one I know who needs a portable wine bag than her lol.

Step son 18 heads off to college

So tomorrow my amazing former stepson 18 heads off to college. He was 7 when he entered my life and turns 19 in October. It wasn't always perfect but I always lived him.

Tonight my new husband and bs9 are going to his mom's to say goodbye. I am very proud as he joined ROTC and received scholarships that will pay for 3 of the 4 years. He asked to use me as a reference for one of his grants. He asked me not his dad ( needed some one who didn't live with him).

I am so proud of him.
