Wouldn't it be great if we could send all BMs to an island far far away where they were only able to see people who came to visit them? Kind of like prison. No texts, no e-mail, nothing! Oh, and they could keep their PASed offspring w them! }:)

I have been in an especially crabby mood all weekend and everything SS does is getting on my nerves.

It probably doesn't help that it is DHs b-day so we have spent the whole weekend with FIL who spoils the kid rotten and thinks he shits gold. This kid can do no wrong around his grandfather and he knows it. According to FIL SS is the smartest, wittiest, most attractive child on the planet and he laughs hysterically at ANYTHING SS says and finds something to praise him about at least every 5 minutes.

She was going to be three in June. My husband gave her to me when we became engaged. She was the best dog. She was beautiful and friendly, always in a good mood. She was playful and loved everyone and everything. She would run as fast as her legs could carry her but always come back as soon as I called her. She was everything.

So I mentioned recently that SS has been overly nice and even said he wants to live with DH and I. We ran into his SF who SS loooooves and he didn't even want to say hi. I don't know what brought on this change and someone suggested that he may be manipulating us and saying the same things to BM.

I don't think (or maybe I don't want to think) SS is manipulating us. He isn't even 5 yet.

I guess my question is, at what age do kids start manipulating? What have been your guys' experience with manipulative SK.

I posted last week that SS has been much more affectionate with me lately, and I think it is because his aunt (who used to take care of him most of the time bc his mother is completely self-absorbed) got pregnant and moved in with her bf.
