We heard from SS
SS finally contacted us. It was a short email. it read "Sarah is fine. We moved in and the apartment is nice. Install skype and add my username, it is .... Be online Thursday at 9 pm. Don't tell anyone else". My husband has been checking his email everyday since SS left. We have been worried sick. And I have cried a lot. I miss the baby. SS disappeared completely since last Wednesday. I am glad SS contacted us soon. My husband even drove to the college area for two days but did not have any luck. Thank you for everyone who wrote supporting comments and prayed for my SS and his daughter. We called the neighbour's daughter to come and install "Skype" for us. We do not know how to use it. My husband also went to Best Buy and bought a webcam. I hope it all works on Thursday. We needed this good news.

It was very mean. You have no idea how upset we were. Hopefully the Skype thing will go well.
Skype is very easy to use.
Skype is very easy to use. Make sure you get a microphone if there isn't one on your computer already. I use it all the time to speak and see my parents in New zealand, kids in Australia and son in Europe.
I think he is very wary of having ANYTHING to do with his other family. He wants to remain under the radar and not let his mother etc get anywhere NEAR him and his daughter. Which when you think about it is VERY commendable.
And if he isn't there on Thurs at 9am don't worry too much. Something may have held him up. Maybe just shoot him an email ... Sorry we missed you on Skype. Hoping everything is OK. Let us know when it works for you again.
BTW, I had my GD overnight on Saturday and 1/2 Sunday and miss her a lot!
The girl next door helped set
The girl next door helped set it up and added SS to the contact list. It does look pretty easy. My husband keeps opening it to see if SS is on it. And yes, I know he wants to avoid his bitch bm but did he really have to put us through all this. It was extremely upsetting. I am praying to God that he shows up on Thursday. And as a grandmother you know how it feels to miss your granddaughter! I love her to bits. It was horrbile that he left without allowing us to say goodbye.
