Hello all-- Been absent for a while but have an issue I need help with.

If you follow me, you know that SD12 has major issues. She's diabetic, has social anxiety and a major case of entitlement and severe defiance. She was home schooled through the hospital homebound program from Jan- June last year. This year, she changed schools b/c she moved (moved in with BM's BF and his kids). She liked her new school and it started off well.

Man am I in a bad mood. I have been sick (cold with fever turned into stomach thing with fever) since last Saturday. I am overwhelmed with all this mental health stuff.... And FDH has his head suddenly firmly planted in the sand again.

For those who don't know, I checked myself into an in-patient facility a few weeks ago. I went in to get myself to stop drinking, which had gotten out of control recently, and to get help with depression. I haven't had a drink since then and I am working hard to fight this depression which was diagnosed as severe.

OSD just emailed me and asked if I wanted to go to England next summer. She and her best friend want to go and they want "a 'responsible' adult to go too and make sure they don't get too drunk or in trouble". They will both be almost 19 by that time but there are some learning disabilities for both and they seem to feel the need to have an older adult there. I told her I thought it was a great idea and we are looking into now.

This is probably going to sound callous as hell but I gotta get this out here so I don't say it to FDH.

FDH is in a city two hours south of us right now, trading in his car. He planned to go straight from there to pick up SD12 and SD15 at BM's house. Then they were driving to another state, six hours away, to visit OSD for her birthday. They planned to stay all weekend. I planned to have a quiet weekend to myself.
