I could strangle my SD and her boyfriend!
Ugghhh, just an exaggeration but dang....so her boyfriend got a pit pup (8-9 months)a few weeks back. So far they've brought her over a couple times to play and honestly we love having her because they play awesome!!! She's a doll and her and my dog are best buds now. That said, last time she was here I warned her it seemed she was in heat and to get her spayed asap. It was early heat so even though my dog kept sniffing her like crazy wasn't trying anything. I told her at this point to wait until she was done w/her heat before bringing her back again.

It's supposed to be menopause....I can't believe my life
So, the last few months my periods keep spreading further and further apart like 35-40 days and more. Also, everything down there seems to be drying and 'shrinking' and painful....so since my mom started early I was convinced I'm in peri-menopause. Made an apt yesterday for next month so we can start hormone treatment since my vajajay seems so angry.
Pre-nups
Do you NEED lawyers if you come to agreement? Can you both sign w/a notary and file w/the courts? How does that work?

So riddle me this.....
I've noticed in responding to both of kenny's threads that one of them keeps dissapearing and re-appearing over and over....at least a dozen times. I have never seen that happen when others are responding to threads. I though you can't delete your posts in blogs, I thought only admins had the power to do that? For it to show up/not show until a few mins later?
I thought only admins could do that.....I'd like an answer from Dawn about it. Makes things quite odd to be honest.

O/T Cleaning supplies
Any ladies create their own cleaning supplies/laundry? If so, what are your fav combos?
I recently made my first batch of a disinfectant liquid. Just added some water/white vinegar/borax and a few drops of tea tree oil. I'm wanting to start making more of my own stuff.
What are your favorite essential oils and uses? Do you prefer borax or baking soda for cleaning items? I LOVE adding borax in the laundry-it's great for stains/odors.
Any homesteading fav hacks/tricks you enjoy?

DH's family didn't show up
This is already twice this year. They no showed for Thanksgiving and now Christmas. This was AFTER they came by Christmas Eve to see him (outside they didn't come in) about how they were coming over. So I made extra food, lots of it. I kept pressing dh to tell me if they were coming over a week prior and leading up. Frustrated beyond belief. But, he knows them. Since FIL died and BIL's wife divorced him the two are enmeshed in their grief, depression and dysfunction and rarely leave the house.

Common sense
GRRRR>....either you're born with it or your not. Just a vent. Co-worker. I swear she has ZERO common sense. If it's not all laid out in perfect instruction, or in a book she cannot apply logic, creative thinking or think her way out of a paper box.
The other reason is because anytime an 'unusual' request comes in- she goes back forth asking so many questions I end up doing it-so she never gains experience and the boss wants it done.

Darn teens
Ok, so I thank heavens I have one good golden child...my youngest son 16 has ALWAYS been a great kid. I've raised them both the same-but my oldest obviously has some depression/anger issues he's dealing with (the wrong way).
SD was always a hell of a child and teen, though she has calmed down some now since she has a boyfriend. Except for last night.

O/T Neighbor bark issues
Too bitchy? Talk in person? Right them a note like below? Keep in mind they live next door and other then a nod we typically dont' talk. I've written about how weird they are before. They just got a dog a few weeks ago, likely from a family/friend or shelter. I LOVE dogs, we have a show/field dog ourselves, he can whine LOUDLY at times-but it's never time excessive, he has a very deep/vicious sounding bark also but it only comes out on rare occassion-he's not a 'barker'. Then comes in this dog, with neighbors that are bad owners.
