Dh and I and the dogs headed to St Simon's for a few days, if you've never been and on the east coast, it's a must-try!  We rented a beautiful cottage/house within minutes of the village/downtown area and beaches.

Hi steppers!  As you may recall, my SD (21) that had a little boy a few months back.  She moved to be w/her fiance's family and they were going to build a place on the parents land out of state.  We were all pretty bummed out she was moving and we weren't even going to meet the little one, she left about a month or so before her due date.

Well, the fiance dragged feet getting a job and recenly had landed two part time jobs, and the loan they applied for was denied.

So, my little step grandson is here, he was a little early but him and mom are doing well, healthy and back home.  Remember she moved out of state with her fiances family.

OMG he is absolutely perfect!! DH the hard as* who hated everything related to her pregnancy and all of it, is quite obviously melting and having a huge change of heart (I knew it would happen lol).

So, I accepted a job offer- this one was my preferred company.  I had started initial talks with other companies too, the last one was even recently.  

I'm not overly thrilled with salary- because it's lower then I had at my previous company- but at my age and a gap of a little over a year, most people are facing the same- not finding jobs w/the income they made.  

Culturally, it is a perfect fit- the manager is awesome and from the same country I grew up in (S. America).
