DH and I have had the SDs for a few weeks. And, it has been hell. First of all, SD10 has two teeth that are rotted out! She was crying and complaining for the first 4 days about the pain. And yes, I felt sorry for her because I know how bad that can hurt. I got her into the first dentist that could see her. And, I paid for a tooth extraction out of pocket. DH and I have joint finances but I earn 2/3 of our income. And, we both know he could not have afforded to do it without me. But the thing that pisses me off is BM.

After reading the "hairbrush" story from another SM on here, I told DH, we should definitely check out the SD's Facebook pages. We don't have the log in info because the pages were set up by BM. DH an I both believe that 7 and now 10 is too young to have a Facebook page, but BM disagrees and does whatever she wants. Well, we pulled up the SD's Facebook pages. And surprisingly, the pages didn't contain anything inappropriate. However, we noticed that SD10 liked several of BM and BigWeirdo's posts. And, we were shocked at the content. Here is a little sampling:

It is close to the end of the school year. We are getting ready for SD7 and SD9 to come and stay with us. The SDs stay with us all summer, but part of this year, we will be spending with my parents. So they will only be in our home for about 6 weeks. We have a four bedroom house. I have a BD2 and a BS8. DH and I decided that the SDs will share one room. And, BD2 and BS8 will each continue in their own rooms. We talked with the SDs about the room assignments when we saw them for the wedding. We asked them how they wanted their room decorated.

DH and I did get married!!

It was a long exhausting weekend and absolutely wonderful! Despite BM touching DH inappropriately, she didn't pull any other crap, except text DH on the day of the wedding to ask where we are gong on our honeymoon and when. ??? She claims she needs to know for custody issues. DH and I had a big laugh and ignored the message. The wedding went off with no problems. The SDs behaved very well, as did my bios. I was extremely surprised. I know it is not going to last long. BM will do something inappropriate again, like she always manages too.

Ugh! I am so livid right now. DF and I are in the SD's home state for our wedding. All of our family lives in the same state so we decided to get married here. DF went to the school to pick up the SDs. BM asked for a signed document about this weekend, which DF agreed to give her. He asked her to sign both copies so he would have one as well. After they were done signing, DF put the pen in his front pocket. BM found another form in SD7's backpack. Without a word, she reached over and stuck her hand in my DF's pocket and grabbed the pen.

That I would get a tattoo with the Skids names on it???? DF and I have been discussing Tattoos. I really want to get one with my kids names on it. I have been thinking about it for a while. DF and I were discussing this. He was helping me get a design idea when he said I could have four lines, one for each of the kids' names. I told him straight up that I wasn't comfortable tattooing his kids names on me, as they aren't my kids. I only see these kids 6 or 7 times a year. They are not bonded with me. I really don't know what he was thinking. He acts like I wounded him.

I found this so funny. DF was talking to the SDs last night and they told him about how BM got yelled at. BM has a SD9 from BigWeirdo. She doesn't see the kid often, because the girl's mom doesn't like sending her to their disgusting house. And BigWeirdo is so overworked that he doesn't fight her on it. Well she sent SD9 to visit BM and BigWeirdo over Easter. Apparently, BM didn't like the way that her SD's hair looked so she took her an got her hair cut without discussing it with BigWeirdo or his ex.

Pay me to make my life easier!!!

DF and I are getting married in May. We have been communicating with BM for over a month about the wedding. We had originally planned to get married in our home state. Of course, the SDs live in another state so DF worked it all out with BM that the SDs would come here for the wedding. We had originally planned to get married at the courthouse, but my family didn't like the idea. My dad offered to throw us a small wedding in the same state the SDs are living in. All of our family is from the same state.

So Mad at DF!!!

I am so pissed at DF. We don't usually fight about the SDs. Ninety percent of our problems are with BM. But this is the stupidest fight we have ever had. DF and I are going to take the SDs and my Bios with us to get a family photo for Easter. We have been planning this forever. So I was going through the kid's clothes and finding things for everyone to wear. I had to buy my BD2 a new dress b/c her one from last year was 12 months and doesn't fit. BS8 had a nice shirt and khakis to wear. So DF asks about the SDs.

My last blog got so many responses and I shared them with DF. He thought about it and decided to take the advice of one of my fellow bloggers. She advised that he try and talk to BM in a civilized way. He called her last night and told her that he would stop quizzing the girls on their spelling words if it was causing such a problem. She told him that she wasn't upset that he was quizzing the girls, but she felt that he was telling her how to study with them. He told her that wasn't his intention. They agreed that she would have the girls write their words every night.
