We have joint custody with my FH ex and the kids live with us. How can we get her to pay for things?
We pay her alimony and she now works and she does not pay us child support. How do we get her to help out with things? We don't want to go back to Court, we can't afford it. Any suggestions on what to say to her or what we should write in the letter?

Ok...My fiance's stepkids are 16 and 14 and they live with us and visit their mother. She doesn't pay child support and she does NOW work and also gets alimony. My question is about six months ago we asked her to contribute to driving school and she stated that she was advised via a letter that her attorney advised not to do so because she doesn't have to and it would help reduce our insurance and would not benefit her..okay whatever. She does not buy any school supplies or lets just say nothing at all.

She told the kids to tell us that the neighbor watches them but she only from what we heard comes down and checks on them. Doesn't stay in the apartment house. Is there any way we have a say on what goes on and that they are staying alone in the middle of the night. I can understand them being by themselves if during the day but at night? Any thoughts, please help?

Okay. My bf has custody of his two kids and the older one told him last night that their mother was moving to another state which is about about 45 minutes from us and she is moving in with her boyfriend who she just met a month ago but they knew each other when they were younger. Mind you she had a lesbian lover a month and a half ago. Very confusing. Anyway, how do we approach the driving situation, when she lived 10 minutues away she would pick them up from our house and we would pick them up on Sunday from her place.
