Blissful Denial ?
My fiance firmly believes his daughters like me. He goes on about it, how much they love me and stuff. I can't tell you for certain they don't like me, but I have a feeling they don't. If that makes any sense. You can feel when someone doesn't like you, right?

I must vent before I lose my cool
My BF and I live together separately, if that makes sense. We don't share a house but we are back and forth to each others.' We live a couple hours from each other. So we miss like 2 or 3 days a week together.

Miniwife?
Little back history about my current situation. My Bf's wife passed 7 years ago and we have dated for 1.5 years now. I'm the second gf after wife passed. There are 3 kids in the picture ages 19, 23 and 29. The 2 youngest still live at home. I have been a SM before to SD's so I know how difficult they can be to bond with or to at lest get along with. This is different as there was a BM in the picture before. Also I want to preface by saying BF is a great guy. I'm crazy about him and want to make this work no matter what.

Adults Only
I read an article on FB the other day where people were complaining at a restaurant owner for making his venue "Adults Only." His reasoning was that his establishment was a place for couples or other adults to enjoy a meal without kids screaming, misbehaving, etc. I think it's a FAB idea!! I wish more places were like this. I took my son to Red Lobster for his 17th Bday and this little girl (maybe 6) next to us had a iPad turned up so loud with a game we could hardly talk. The couple next to them asked to be moved. Clearly the parents' fault, but furthers my point.

Disjointed today
I'm no stranger to step-parenting. I've been off this site for several years because I've not been in a Step situation for a long time. I've been re-married before and lived in blended hell for several years. After we divorced, I took a break for a while from marriage and focused on just my kid.
Fast forward to now. I'm currently in a serious relationship with a great guy for over a year now. He's the one, this is a sure thing, I never want to be without him. etc, etc.
