Just when you think it's getting better

I know I have mentioned that SD5 has the most unhealthy hair I have ever seen. She has about 4 inches of baby hair that was never trimmed off because BM refuses to groom her properly. So about 6 weeks ago, DH and I took BS10 and BS8 for a haircut and SD5 was with us. We asked her if she wanted to get her hair "trimmed" and she said yes. We explained to the stylist that she should trim the smallest amount possible so BM doesn't have a coronary. When DH took SD5 home, BM didn't even notice the "trim." About 20 minutes later, DH's phone blew up.

Denying phone access

I need some opinions on a situation we are currently facing. The Court Order in regards to SD5 states that the non-custodial parent (DH) is to have "liberal phone visitation." According to the standards of our state, liberal is not defined, however "reasonable phone visitation" is defined as 2 calls per week and one call per weekend. As of today, DH has called BM for 3 days since we had SD5 this weekend. And he has yet to talk to his daughter.

What round are we on now?

For those of you who didn't read my last blog, BM refused to provide us with a uniform to take SD5 to school in on Monday mornings, per the court order. Well, her attorney told her she had to. This weekend, she brought us a uniform. Woohoo!! But she conveniently forgot her backpack, the backpack she told DH never existed. So when I showed up at the school this morning with SD, BM was waiting in front of the school with the backpack. She tried to take her and shoo me away, but I asked her to take me to SD's class and introduce me to the teacher.

Chaos - what our lives have been reduced to

At the end of May during one of our pickups of SD5, BM came out on the porch solo. She had a lengthy discussion with DH. Of course, as SM, I'm not allowed on the porch so I sat in the car wondering "what in the world is it this time?" As we got on our way with SD5, DH says "you're not going to believe this one!!" According to BM, while they were on vacation, SD5 began gyrating her hips a lot. When BM asked SD5 where she learned that, supposedly SD5 said "that's how Daddy and SM exercise." If what BM said were true, then I can completely understand her concern.

Another day in the life of PAS

Last weekend, BM refused to provide us with a uniform for SD5 so I could take her to school on Monday morning per the court order. When DH told BM that we would provide the uniform and come to the house at the end of the day on Monday to retrieve it, BM informed DH that if he showed up at her house without invitation, she would file a restraining order against him. Soooo, because BM refused to provide us with uniform and SD's backpack, we had no way of sending SD5's favorite stuffed kitty to school with her so that she could have it at home.
