This is Rich.

To give a bit of background. SS14 lives with his dad and I full time. Mother is nearly completely out of the picture. She lives over 1000 miles away. Rarely calls SS14. When she sends cards or packages they are usually a full month late for specific dates. She is bi-polar and a narcissist. The past two and half years she has been shacked up with a registered sex offender (pedofile).

You know....there are times. Times when I wish I could take the low road and smack a bitch upside the head.

SS14's Bio-Mom who lives a thousand miles away and who rarely talks to and even less frequently sees her son sent a snarky text today DH today. "Got the Mother's DAY card in the mail today. ty to you and D***** (SS14)."

Nice. DAY all in caps to emphasize that it was a day late. This from the same woman who sends birthday and Christmas packages sometimes MONTHS late.

I really dislike her sometimes.

I may not think a thing is getting through to my autistic/adhd/bipolar SS13 but it is. I woke up bleary eyed having to pee this morning. Like any other 13 year old boy he was hogging the bathroom.

"Son, I have to pee."
"Okay, but there is a huge spider in the tub. I think it is a wolf spider."
"Son, I have to pee. Come on, now."
"I don't know where it went I think it is behind the curtain."

Christmas and the Non-Present BM

So I heard from SS13's BM recently. She is going to send him a Christmas present this year. She expects that it will actually get to us on time this year. Last year it arrived in time for Valentine's day.

We told her that we are buying an Xbox One for the house; so SS13 is getting the Xbox 360 for his room with a small 19 inch tv so he can play video games in his room and watch his dvds on a larger screen than his current 7 inch screen.

She has informed us that she found him Portal One and Portal Two for Xbox 360 at a used game store for him for Christmas.

Possibility of Adopting the SS12

I was so floored by this news yesterday that I didn't elaborate on the issues that caused me to be so flummoxed.

1. BM is a huge hypochondriac.

As a matter of fact, it's so bad that when DH was married to her, the emergency room had classified her as a frequent flyer.

2. We recently sent BM legal documentation that we didn't want her sex-offender convicted and registered boyfriend anywhere around SS12.

3. She did not send SS12 a Christmas gift or card.

4. She rarely calls SS12.

5. She lives over 1000 miles away.

A Holy Crap moment.

SS12's BM Was feeding DH a line about how she may have cancer. If she does I am sorry. No one should have to go through that. But then she dropped this huge brick! If she does she wants to sign ove all rights so that I ca adopt SS12! I am trying not to get my hopes up. But having her disappointments out of his life would make things so much easier for him. :jawdrop:

SS12: (running monologue while playing minecraft on xbox) And this is my lava waterfall. If you look over here, I have another waterfall, but it's not lava, it's water. I am building tree houses over here. And on this mountain there are three houses. One is yours. Hey, Lisa, have I mentioned lately that I love you?

Me: Nope. But thank you for mentioning it now. I love you too, very much.

SS12: K. Oh, and look at these decorations in the house. I have paintings and wall torches and a fireplace..........

Haven't posted in a while, because I am trying to stay positive. But the POS BM of my SS12 is at her old tricks.

She didn't send him a card, note, F-You or anything for Christmas this year. She said it was because she had no money. A letter costs less than 50 cents to mail, but don't get me started on that.

His Birthday is in a week and a half. DH sent her an email, kindly asking her to remember to send a card. She got pissy and said she was "well aware that his birthday is approaching...she was there afterall."

My SS11 has Autism, ADHD and "Severe-psychosis Non Specified." He lives with his father and I full time. He was in an acute care psychiatric hospital over Valentine's day. A couple of times he mentioned that He knew his BM had sent him a package for Valentine's Day. She had not. As a matter of fact, we had to remind her to even send a card so he could have it when he got home.

She did. The card arrived the day he got home from the hospital, which was lucky for her.

Hospitalization for the SS11

About 7 days ago, the SS11 had a psychotic break. If you have read my blogs in the past, you already know, my SS11 lives with DH and I full time. He is Autistic, ADHD and Bi-polar.

Well, we have been having a horrible time lately. His psychiatrist's solution was to throw even more medicine down his gullet.

But still on a recent Saturday, he had a full blown psychotic break. He bit a police officer, hit is father and kicked and screamed all the way to the ambulance. (Hi neighbors! Yes, my son is being carted away by the police. Sigh).
