This past weekend we had SD.  She is back in cheer again which we all know is a giant time suck.  Anyways, she was supposed to have a game on Saturday but BM called SO and notified him that since there was a "torrential downpour" (aka known as a slight consistent rain for those that aren't overly dramatic) SD would not be going to the game to cheer.  Apparently she has try outs for competitive cheer this week all week from 6-8:30 and CANNOT miss a day of that.  So BM called the coaches and talked them into letting her miss because of the rain and not be benched at the next game.  According

It has been a little while since we have had any good old SD drama and I am not complaining.  I was actually enjoying the lack of drama but she had to create some this weekend...shocker!  I believe I mentioned in a previous blog that SD informed SO that she thinks she is bi/gay/lesbian and that she didn't want her mom to know b/c when she asked her mom what she would think if she found out she was gay her mom responded that she would be disappointed.  I honestly didn't believe that was BM's response but I wasn't trying to involve myself in that in any way shape or form.  SO told her that sh

As many of you know from my last blog I had a major issue with SO continually undermining me.  I know it seemed like I was just upset about SD drinking a coke and manipulating SO into buying her more soda for her "sore throat" but I was more upset about the fact that I don't feel like SO backs me up and act like a partner/parent instead of giving into SD's manipulative ways.  

I'm so sick of SD weekends and defensive daddy.  It is pretty bad when I come to work to relax and unwind from having to deal with the chaos that occurs EVERY time we have SD.  Also so sick of SO acting as if SD is the victim all the time and my son is the only problem.
