Can we call you mom?

I just had the kids ask me tonight if they could call me "mom". It's come up before and I've always changed the subject because it was the youngest one (Cool asking. But tonight it was all three together (like they talked in the other room and came as one) and asked me in front of FDH.
First, FDH has primary custody. I get the kids ready every morning for school. Help them with their homework every night.
I do typical "parent" things with them, at the request of FDH, (and the hatred of BM). I have a pretty good relationship with all three 95% of the time...

BM TOLD FSS HE IS WEARING SKIRTS!

FSS wears boxer briefs for underwear. And BM only buys him tidy whities. But she makes fun of him telling him, "you wear skirts for underwear"

When FSS came home saying this FDH and I were in disbelief, "are you sure thats what she said?" I asked him. And his sisters answered, "yep" and "uh huh"

I mean what are you supposed to say to a kid after that?
How is a boy supposed to come back from that?

Since we have moved into the new house and unpacked almost everything, there has been much more relaxing time. I found my scale and unpacked it, stepped on it (I just had to know)
And I'm 4 pounds lighter than two months ago!
Nothing huge but it made me smile to think that some stress of my life is leaving and it has taken the few extra pounds it brought with it away as it

Skids are at BM tonight for visitation. SD calls my phone, and asks what our address is (she has not memorized it since we moved). She said she has a school project and a friend needs to come over.
My response to her was, since it is so complicated and her friend needs it to give her parents, and we have not talked to her parents, that dad will call school and talk to the teacher.
Then handed the phone to FDH.
THEN BM CALLS FDH PHONE.

BM why are you so bat shit crazy?

DH has custody,..y SD stated home sick from school, DH let her know. BM wanted to play super mom and take her to the doctor (again)... So DH let her pick her up...

Then I get this text message from BM:

Don't you ever tell MY children (not yours) that they are not allowed to call ME, THEIR MOTHER, when they are sick! Or under any other circumstance!
And just so that we are clear, I DIDN'T ASK! SD told me as soon as we left the farm. So go ahead and bring that to DH lawyer!
