Last night, I was embarrassed by BM - and she wasn't even in the area......
Went to a parent meeting for SD12. She's in a running program after school two days a week. Those two days just happened to be when the skids have spent the night at BM's house and have to get up and go to school from there......which means wake up late, no time to brush teeth, no time for breakfast, and certainly no time to think about what's going on that day, and what appropriate clothes the skids should wear.
Hate it when I lose my sanity, and crawl through the muckity muck filled gutter to BM's level....
Got into a texting war with BM last night regarding SD10 taking her allergy pills.
I hate texting - except to DH - you know, those sweet "love you" texts, or the }:) naughty }:) ones.
I prefer face-to-face battles.
All I can say is: she started it. How stupid does that make me sound? VERY stupid AND childish AND extremely immature, petty, and did I say Stupid?
I won't go into any more details regarding the "gist" of this pathetic war. It's a conversation BM and I have had before, (too many times) - and I hate RE-RUNS!
O/T - So Cute!! I have custody of my 5 y/o granddaughter who just started kindergarten.....
So last night at dinner, I asked her "So, have you made any friends at school?" She says "Yes". I say "Well, what are their names?" She replies, "I don't know, I haven't named them yet." 
Just thought I'd interject a little humor here.

Have to ask.........does the BM get worse after marriage?
We just got married one month ago. Honestly, there haven't been any big problems in the past month, but it feels like the calm before the storm. Something just feels eerily "not right". Our BM has been on a campaign for the past three years to make my life a living hell, and I guess to break us up. She was really bad when we first started dating, then one year later when we got engaged, she kicked it up a notch. Thankfully, all her words/actions have totally turned DH around when it comes to her and he has been extremely respectful of my feelings for the past year.
My skids go to my neighbor's house after school on BM's days......
Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday. All the other days they come here. (The skids are both girls, one is 10 and the other is almost 12.) I have very wonderful neighbors, their kids are the same ages as my skids, and our backyards have no fencing, so it's like one BIG backyard. All the kids just play wherever they want, our yard, their yard, whatever..... Well, one day the neighbors put up a trampoline, and we all went over there to take a look at it (the kids were very excited, me... not so much).
