Time off!!!
Ok, so the holiday weekend wasn't too bad. DP got on SD11 for some things (11.5 yo attitude) and cleaned up SD9 toilet issue...flushing happened all day yesterday! He also picked up the remnants of things left in slob SD11 bedroom after they left.
SD11 driving me nuts with her little nose in the air attitude...entitled girl...SD9 was super good almost the whole time, just s little whiney in the morning, aka 11:30 am. Didn't let it stop me at all.
SD9 is off to camp for a week and SD11 was going to be with us Wed - Sat of this week (a freaking again!)...but DP decided to take her to visit relatives about 3 hrs away for 3 days! I won't see her at all! She and DP can do father/daughter stuff and I will have three days by myself! THEN DP and I go on vacation *by ourselves* for a week. No SDs for two weeks!!
This will change in August when we have them a lot but it's so nice now when we are so busy at work and I can't take the noise and mess in the evening...and I can finish the guest room/office re-do easily!

I've learned to keep my mouth shut for the most part...
He was pissed all by himself at SD11, FINALLY you see her disrespect!
As for the SD9 toilet thing he keeps blaming the toilet. It's old, I get that. But it STILL FLUSHES FINE IF ONE FLUSHES IT! SD9 actively denied not flushing, but I knew it was her. DP politely asked her to please flush...blah blah...I ended up saying "DP, take her down there NOW and make her flush it NOW." No problems the rest of the time. Bejeezus.
He has on/off days and times. But it's still vastly better than a year ago. You know, since I found this site.
