Classic Textbook Skid Run Amok

I work in IT for the county. I have to service the Probation Dept. Well looky looky! A Proby officer leaves paperwork out in full view.

Seems 17 year old Johnny:

1. is in trouble shoplifting and doing drugs, skipping school and has been ordered to go to tutoring (of which he has skipped 40 sessions since school started)

2. the paperwork clearly stated that custodial BM doesn't follow up with consequences for Johnny and neither does guilty non-custodial biodad

I"m sure there's a long suffering SM in all of this behind the scenes pulling her hair out!!

Usually GG (biodad I live with for eight LOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG years) talks about work. This one's a stupid a-hole, that one is a f'n douche, etc. etc. You get the picture. So I start to talk about work (big mistake). I start talking about how we have a twenty something that actually knows his stuff and does fine work, is very helpful, which is rare for generation me (no offense to anyone on this board who is a mature dedicated SM and in their twenties).

to tell Prince Hygiene (SS stb 9) about the birds and the bees. This is the girl (at the time 8 1/2) who I walked in on when she was playing "doctor" with Prince Hygiene!!

Yesterday there were several posts about skids behaviour in public and how embarrassing it was. A couple of common themes came up.

Other than ATROCIOUS table manners in private AND in public, and the usual TANTRUMS, there were some things that made me shudder about my Pre-PASout days.

VD (SD13) has broken up with her boyfriend of 2 months. And after the Behemoth told ALLLLL VD's teachers that she was dating this guy (as another excuse for VD's horrific grades)

VD was crushed that she had to "chose beetwen skool and boys"

VD (SD 13) and a friend went to see "Breaking Dawn" as a reward for VD's "pritty good grades" (15 points below failing in all core subjects, plus Bs and Cs in health, chorus and gym.) :jawdrop:

From the sounds of it, it seems unsuitable for two girls who have just turned 13 despite the PG13 rating. In my case, the Behemoth has always allowed the skids to do whatever they want; whether age inappropriate or not. A totally laissez faire approach to non-parenting.

"my grades were priitty good! all were in 50's exeapt 4 health, chorus and gym! SO HAPPY!!!!"
