For SS? Of course we can do that! *vent*
When we got married, I tried and tried and tried to get my DH to get a place on post with absolutely no luck.

OT: No sex drive and tired all the time
DH should be home relatively soon, but instead of being excited, I'm just super anxious.
I had my thyroid checked since thyroid issues run in my family on my dad's side. About half of his siblings are on one form of thyroid med or another.
Nope, my thyroid function is *great*! I suppose that would explain my recent weight loss????
I dunno. In the past month, I've lost 25 lb.s not really trying. For the past 4 months, I've just felt like crap on a stick all the time time. It's been over a year since I've really had a sex drive.

Feeling crazy/frustrated; baby help?
My DD1 started throwing up last night around 11 and when her stomach was empty, she was dry heaving and/or caughing up this gooey stuff. No fever, no diarhea. This went on until 3 am when she finally fell asleep. Of course I called her pediatrician's 24 hr. line. The nurse told me it isn't serious b/c she doesn't have a fever, and to keep her hydrated on tablespoons of water - 1 tbsp no more often than every 5 min. and only if she asks. The problem is she can't even keep down the 1 tbsp of water. Is this really not serious? I'm worried!

O/T: Any of you ever deal with this? Car buying question.
About 3 weeks ago, I bought my DH a car. His is slowly dying and no longer safe to drive, so he needed a newer one, and I also wanted him to have a nice welcome home surprise. Our credit was approved at a pretty good interest rate, I made a down payment, signed all the paperwork, and brought it home. It's been sitting in my garage ever since (i.e. hasn't been driven).
Tag line help.
I've been tag-lineless since I've been here, but I've finally found a quote that's caught my fancy. I'd like to add it to my tagline, but it's pretty long and the tag line keeps cutting it off. I've seen some pretty long ones on here, so for those of you who've managed to add a long tag line, how'd you do it?

Lately, every conversation revolves around SS
It's starting to upset me a little, because I get the distinct impression that he's going to want to throw away another large sum of cash we can't afford on a lawyer who's just going to take him for a ride again. One example is that we both need new cars. We have two that are paid off, and I can make mine work for probably another few years, but his is going to die any day now. Everytime we talk about a vehicle, he insists it has to be a "family" vehicle which is his way of saying SUV, van, mini-van, or extended cab/king cab truck.

They returned one of the boxes
About a month ago, I boxed up and mailed out my SS's toys that have been sitting here unused since Christmas of 2009. My H and MIL both said to mail them to her to deliver to SS, so I did. As soon as she got them, she changed her mind about wanting to be involved, and started guilt tripping me about sticking her w/ SS's toys.

Baby DD (now 1) doesn't like cake!
I have never met a baby or heard of a baby who doesn't like cake! BabyDD just turned one; we were out of town at a family reunion during her b-day. My cousin bought DD1 a cake which was very sweet of her, but DD1 had already eaten a *ton* of food by the time the cake was brought out. When she only took one bite of it, I wasn't really suprised; I just figured she was full.

You should have thought of that before you left
Good news: I just got back from a family reunion in AR. I left the day the fires started here and was planning to come home sooner, but my friend who was watching my house and cats told to stay gone as long as I could and she didn't mind watching them for a few more days. So, that was nice of her.

Unhappy's Blog Got Me Thinking
I didn't want to hi-jack Unhappy's blog (http://www.steptalk.org/node/71140), but now I wonder . . .
For those of you who've had the "if your daughter gets pregnant" talk w/ your DH/SO, how did that person react? I'm not entirely sure why, but after I read what she wrote, my initial thought was that the DH in this situation realizes how much his daughter is messed up, and he now wants a re-do to redeem himself.
