If you missed my past blogs about SD12's cell phone, BM made a huge stink about leaving the phone at our house exclusively just to turn around one week later and decide that she needed another thing to control.

SD even went as far to forego visitation yesterday with DH's approval because she has a "cough" and is so sick. Her spring fling dance was the night before and no talk of being sick, but she has her 3rd hand at BM's now (cell phone).

Am I paranoid?

So SD is using her phone that was forbidden at BM's but now she magically has access to. DH invited her to church this morning because she wanted to go last night. Now, she's "sick" (with a freaking COUGH) and can't come over today.

Is BM behind this for me ignoring her yesterday? She was just trying to be buddy- buddy and even called me "lady". DH isn't going to exercise his visitation because of poor, sick SD. I am sick of this family and dysfunction.

As I'm chilling at home on my day off I get this text from BM:

""Hello lady. So it's SD12's dance tonight and she told her teacher she would take pictures for the yearbook. May we come get her phone from you for her to use tonight"

So what is it??!! Last week it was no cell phone for SD PERIOD and now she can use it 1 week later? I'm not the crazy one here! I am literally shaking right now. She's especially crazy if she thinks I want to text her back and see her stupid twunt face today.

We had a heated convo this evening. I basically told him that SD is not as perfect as he thinks she is and that I have no power in discipling her if he doesn't back me up. He told me that I need to discipline her 100% as if she were mine and I refuse..

Sd12 resents her "stepdad" (BM will never marry her babydaddy) and I do not want to experience what I've read on this site unnecessarily.

He never sees when SD rolls her eyes or gives me attitude and she's just a little girl who hasn't been parented since he left!

SD rarely gives DH attitude and if she does, he puts her in her place, but he was right there yesterday when she rolled her eyes at me and "didn't see" it and apparently didn't hear me confront her when I told her that she isn't allowed to treat me that way because I don't roll my eyes at her.

OT school shooting threats

Multiple high schools in my area have received threats in the form of public social media posts saying that someone (nonspecific so far) will be opening fire at X school at Y time in Z building and some are just basic threats for a certain school.

People aren't sending their kids to school and Facebook is flooding with warnings. I had a good day today but now I am physically sick to my stomach.

Sorry to be a blog hog but I am so upset and disappointed with the world we live in.

A poster wrote something on a recent blog that I just had to share:

"We both realized early on that co-parenting and loving our children was the only way to go."

She said that she and her children's father never went to court and can split expenses without an arguement or resentment. Why, oh why isn't this a reality for most of us??

Weekday birthday parties

Who does that?? SD's friend's bday is today and DH text me that somehow it's his job to get SD there at 6pm- and provide a gift card. First off, it's BM's time so he was stupid to agree. Now he has to leave work early and BM and GBM are just at home.

Last year this kid had a birthday party at a family fun center and bowling and one other activity was paid for by the parents. I'm not saying they have to top it but why a school night? I hope if I have kids that their friends don't invite them to a weekday bday party.

I knew that DH bought SD a half dozen roses and a box of candy for Valentine's Day. I am 100% fine with that.

What I didn't find out until this weekend was he showed up to BM's UNANNOUNCED to deliver them! I had made a comment that I was surprised BM answered his call or text allowing him to stop by. He then told me he hadn't called or texted and just rang the doorbell!
