Preteens and hygiene
I know this is laughable for most of you, and my last post got me thinking. I've mentioned it before, but SD12 has to be told when to shower. Every other day is acceptable since she doesn't have gym class. Her hair is very fine and pin-straight, so it gets greasy by the 2nd day of not washing.
Every. Single. Time. She comes over from BM's house, her hair is a ball of grease. I don't like being seen with a grungy looking kid, so she always bathes every other day at our house.

It was nail glue
Aka super glue that is on my laptop screen. DH talked to SD and apparently he has something that can get it off.
But guess what? I'm not even mad! This was our first conversation of the morning and DH said I was grumpy and he just wanted me to be "nice" to him. So I dropped it.
I asked him to handle it and he says he will. I rarely use the laptop so SD can have it. It was on sale for $130 a couple years ago and I need a desktop anyway. I told him it was annoying and that she should've said something but he can "fix" it. So that, ladies and gentlemen, is that.

Why is it so hard....
To clean up basic messes? I get SD has been waited on by BM and GBM her whole life, but she's 12 now and should be smart enough to see basic messes! Our home does not provide maid service!

OT return your shopping carts, folks!
There are stalls in the parking lot to corral them for a reason!
It is windy as f@$% today and there are carts blocking parking spaces and run into cars at the store! The best part? The stall is literally 20 feet (if that?) from the spaces they're being left!
I think this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I'll go as far to say that it is the shopper's obligation to put it back if they used it! Grrr!!

The truth about SD
DH and I usually go to Chili's on Sunday for the all day Happy Hour. They have decent apps and drinks for cheap (love the chips, salsa, guac, and loaded queso! The bartender also makes us strong margaritas because we are regulars lol). We always go as a late lunch/ early dinner. I haven't been drinking because I am preparing to TTC. DH had a few drinks and said he's sure I'm pregnant because he knocked BM up in one try (they were FWBs and he swears he knows the day it happened)! It finally came out that she lied about BC and he was too dumb to pull out because he believed her lying a$$.

Aaaand enter Disney Daddy
When DH and I were having breakfast, he said that he thinks he should "get something" for SD after yelling at her this morning. I told him he needs to give her a kick in the ass! She wasn't even with BM for 12 hours and WW3 erupted!

WTF just happened?
Today is DH's day off and we were just woken up by BM's call about SD arguing about going to sex ed today. I am so sick of BM's lack of parenting and involving DH in the most basic situations. DH even offered to keep SD last night and take her to school this morning but BM just had to have her home. There never would've been an argument if DH dropped SD off.

Warning future SMs
My co-worker's ("A") fiance just found out that he has a 2 year old son with an ex who moved to NC. They are flying there next weekend to meet the boy for the first time. A's concern is the ex stalking her FB page, which wasn't private until yesterday.

Too good not to share! BM texts
"I just want to say thank you so much for being you! You are an amazing dad and a great person. Thank you"
That is what DH received this morning from BM. If he was such an "amazing dad and person" why did she ask him to sign his parental rights away 5 years ago and proceed to keep SD away at every turn? Because her lack of parenting then sudden desire to parent when SF came into the picture is backfiring?

DH to "tell" BM what it is
Yesterday while we were cooking breakfast after the gym, DH mentioned that at pick-up for his week this past Saturday, BM was literally crying to him about SD's behavior at her house and being mean to her son with the boyfriend. The waterworks is BM's MO and DH said every court visit, she turned them on and got her way. In our state, even if she hadn't, I'm sure she'd have still gotten her way.
