So to anybody that has been keeping up with my blogs, MIL was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 1 of 4 spots that had a biopsy done. She goes in today at about 10a.m.-ish so any "good vibes" and prayers anybody could send her way would be very much appreciated. She is getting a "lumpectomy" and the stage 4 spot is very deep according to the doctors but they are hopeful that they can remove it. DH and SIL are not handling it well at all and seemed to be taking turns driving the other insane over the weekend.

Okay.
I'm kind of freaking out.
I just won $400 at work to be given to me in gift-card form, the only catch is it has to be from certain vendors like "Bed-Bath-and-Beyond" or 'Target' etc.
If I do a gift card for a restaurant I know I will end up "sharing" with DH and ss. My practical side says get a sears gift card and buy a new dryer.
That is no fun.
I want to spoil myself FOR ONCE.
I know Dh would do the SAME THING if he won.
I know I am getting nothing for Christmas.

Just got a phone call from my little brother, he's going to miss Christmas he's getting a PICC line:
PICC stands for “peripherally inserted central catheter.” It is a long tube inserted into the arm and used for intravenous antibiotic therapy.. The tubing that goes into the patients arm is threaded into a very large vein, which connects it to the right side of the heart. By delivering medication so close to the heart, it gets pumped through the body more efficiently and will have to remain in the hospital for at least a month :O
