Father’s Day inconsiderate plans

2 posts in one day ! lol well this technically is not a post about my SK but more my SIL. I have had a rocky relationship with my MiL and SIL but as of late, things have been pretty smooth. That was until today! A few weeks ago SIL asked me when we would be celebrating DD4 birthday. I told her that although DDs real birthday is June 21 we would celebrate that Saturday which is June 22nd most likely early . I know that her daughter ( DH niece) has a birthday close to Father's Day and DDs birthday but I don't know when her actual birthday is.

Hello all! It's been a while but all has been well over here! Therapy with DH and myself is going really good! Things with SD 14 has improved but she has not really been over since after Easter. One weekend she was sick and the next time she had a sports ball to attend but things have been good with SD and BM has been quiet. Except for today. SD was just over for her weekend and she has become enjoyable to be around, she plays well with her siblings now and starts conversations with me to my surprise! But of course BM has to text DH if he is gonna help her pay for an urgent care bill.

So as I'm sure most of you are aware of the total crap storm that brewed Easter weekend, all that drama and SD14 decided to not come. There were many MANY talks that happened the entire weekend ( all calm thank god) but I did come down on him HARD on passive aggressive MIL. He apologized and has since had a talk with his mother about her unwanted advice and her comments about his wife (me) . We have had a few counseling session which are going great, DH didn't object at all. Things have been peaceful in the house besides the chaos of having 4 kids lol.

NOT so Good Friday!! Ugh

So I am home working , yup gotta work on Good Friday. All the kids are home ( driving me nuts) and DD 1 is sick with hand/foot mouth disease so she is misresable . The baby is been screaming at night for about 3 night ( most likely due the her mouth hurting ) she is extremely clinging and on top of that we are trying to keep the other kiddos away so they don't catch it . We think the baby caught it from another baby she was around last weekend because our daughter doesn't go to daycare and she was fine before and got sick about a few days after being around this other baby.

It's been a joy I must confess not having SD here for the amount of months that she refused her visitation. No drama , other then the drama MIL tries to bring in the house after talking to BM and SD14. This Easter is a long weekend with the kids having off Friday and Monday, I had a gut feeling that BM would try to get SD to come on a long weekend, it's not DH weekend. We have plans to go to my sisters house on Saturday to do a Easter egg hunt for the little kids ( my Bio son will be with his dad ) . Well SD texted DH asking if she could come for Easter, siggghhhhhh!

Just hours away from Family Vacay!

And I can not wait to hit the road!!!! It has been a stressful month at work and a stressful few days with MIL butting in the middle of DH and SD14. We have been spending the weekend prepping and packing for our week long trip to Florida so I have not had time for any extra dramatics. I'm sure MIL was not happy to learn that her guilt trip/ pressure on DH did not work. She made plans for him to drive 3 hours ( 6 total) with SIL this weekend to see sD14 play volleyball. He declined because the tires on our needed to be rotated this weekend and oil change needed to be done.

I was waiting for it to happen, drama with SD , BM and MIL! I just had a feeling when DH said he was talking to MIL on the phone it had to do with SD. mIL loooooove To butt in his relationship with SD and tell him how he needs to be doing more when she has no idea what is doing on!!! So MIL basically guilted DH about " not being there more for SD" and how she is doing bad in school because he doesn't communicate with BM anymore and some how that has to do with SD14 doing bad in school and it's also because he doesn't see SD anymore!

The one thing ( out on many) reasons why I do not being in blender family is because for some reason OUR lives and business is always aired out to everyone by SD14 , MIL and SIL. Some how BM gets word about our lives, purchases, trips and everything which she uses against DH anytime she can. DH did stop sharing a lot of information related to that to SD because it doesn't concern her yet some how SD 14 still knows our business! We recently went out of town .

Finally a spring break Vacay . !

So my sister asked me today if I would want to drive with her to Florida on spring break! She booked a Airbnb already ( she is paying for it all) but her husband and MIL can't go because they just found out some family news which they will be traveling that same week. So my Sister asked if me, DH and our kiddos want to come because there will be just enough room for us plus my niece . Also my sister doesn't want to make that 9 hour drive alone with my Niece so I told her yes of course we will plan to come ! Well in comes the down fall.

So I created another post because I want everyone's opinion on how this should be handled. So finally around 6pm DH send SD another text, she ignored his previous tectonic about if she was coming or not. SD finally responded saying "she couldn't" because her team has a watch party Sunday and she got invited to 2 birthday parties. And she said "I can't go next weekend" DH is not responded yet but I'm thinking .... UM NO you don't run the schedule around here at all!
