Oldest appologised?

Oldest SD appologised (in a way)to Hubby via e-mail yesterday..

(Just like her mother...everything is always everyone elses fault..she is not responsible for her own words & actions and conscequences...someone else is to blame)

Most of the 'appology' centers around how it's her sisters fault ......."because she just didn't really know what she wanted and was telling everyone ELSE (meaning us?)what they wanted to hear"

Hubby is pissed at oldest SD! Youngest SD had asked me & my daughter a couple months ago (smom & ss) if I would plan her bridal shower for her 'Dads' side and said that her mother and sister can put one on for 'Moms' side..

Well oldest wanted us to book a hall for the 1 shower SHE was planning.....

SO her Dad send an e-mail back saying ..I was doing the one for his side..didn't youngest speak to her about that?

Selfish mothers.....will reap what they sow...

Youngest SD sent a very touching e-mail about family yesterday....and how we are often more 'polite and respectful of strangers feelings' than the feelings of those we supposedly love & care about....

She sent it to our e-mail address and her sisters....

.......her mother was not included.......

Had an interesting exchange with my son last night regarding Dad's GF...

I think he's being coached to keep things from me...

He was adding contacts to his e-mail and he was on the phone getting his Dad's & Gf's and we were giving him ours etc.. He says "I put 'GF' in under family" then he gets a strange look on his face....like he shouldn't have said that! I say "Ya, that's where she belongs...she's like your step-mom."

Pick-up time was 6:20 Friday evening....he shows up at 7:50. He just decided to go elsewhere and show up whenever...

Daughter called him at 7:00..he went home afterwork instead picking them up..and lied to her (he'd been good lately) about the pickup time...(sound familiar Dawn)....

He even asked my daughter when she called at 7:00 "ARe you Mad??!!"

He knew he was irresponsible and was pissing us all off?!!

Oldest SD is just not a pleasant person!!

Youngest SD's wedding is 8 months away...so she is heavy into the planning stages...

SO far her Mom is not placing any demands on her, or being difficult, which is what we all (SD included) expected.

BUT the oldest SD is being horrible!!!!

SD fell in love with this beautiful wedding dress....
oldest SD tell says "I hate that dress!" ....

All the other bridesmaids picked out a really nice shade of blue for their dresses....
oldest SD says "I'm not wearing that shade of blue!"....."I'll make me look fat"

SD & fiance came by to pick up thier dog, yesterday...we were doggy-sitting. Her Dad was working...but they stayed to visit with me & my kids. She brought coffee for me, too.

Things have really been great since our blow-up and subsequent discussions this summer.

Her sister is giving her a hard time over wedding plans....everything she likes, dress styles or colors, music, table settings...you name it. SISTER HATES IT!!! Youngest is already getting pretty stressed out and the wedding isn't until summer.

Girls -- Have a sense of humor!

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE:

One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.
