great advice from wonderful
friend and therapist. DH has been inundated with phone calls and emails from BM since judge decided to give Joint custody two weeks ago. Advised by friend to only reply once a week to ones that are necessary. Just print off the emails when come in, then set aside one hour on Sunday evening to respond with short one sentence message to any. Any that are just gibberish or nonsens lies, don't respond to BM,just write own reponse to what happened and staple to original email in case litigates again. Has anyone else tried this?

OH MY WORD
Please someone, give me some reassurance that once SD turns 18, I will never have to deal with BM anymore!!! DH was out of town, and BM claims I did not give her phone messages to SD16. Immediately believes SD without even asking. What a load of crock. She is 16, for crying out loud, the only people she calls back are her boyfriend and friends. My chant for last few years has been---only 3 more years to go, only 2 more years to go, etc...
Do these BM just not know they are totally enabling their kids to lie and manipulate because their BM will just believe everything? ARRRGHHHHH

VENT VENT VENT VENT VENT
AARGH! SD16 tries oh so hard to get my goat again today. Last time was 4 months ago, which we ended up shipping to BM to have a try being FT mom for a few months. What a disaster---she failed three classes out of six for final quarter, got more disrespctful to us. One class she failed so miserably the last q (had been getting c/b/d prev) that she failed for the whole year.
So, now she is living with us again, thanks to judge who said permissive parenting is not a good thing, especially for a teen who tends to find trouble.
