Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the propositon that all men are created equal.
Now we ar engaged in a great civil war, testing whehter tha tnation, or any nation so conceived, and deidcated, can long endure. We are met hereon a great battlefield of tha twar. We have come to ddication a peortion of it, as a final resing place for those who gave their lives that the nation might live. It is altoghether fitting and proper that we should do this.

O/T. Getting close to the end of my rope... and DW is nailing it at her new firm.
Work has gone ballistic. Idiot decisions at very Sr. levels. Panic in every direction.
I very well be done at EOM May.
Hopefully I am hit in a RIF and can leverage unemployement and my Vacation pay out for a break and to fund my next job search.
We are selling our home. It has been fully furnished with all utilities on, alarm system active, etc.... with no one living in it other than occassional check-in trips by DW and/or myself.
Bat shit crazy is back... in a new form. The last one... didn't listen and is gone.
A quick history recap of my 2022. I promoted one of my Jr managers into the position of my #2 in Dec 2022. He is an incredibly knowlegeable. Technically incredibly proficient, and ...
Failure to thrive? Hmmmmm?
My BIL2's daugther is about to be 6yo. She wears 4T size clothing and weighs about 30lbs.
They keep her in front of her Pediatrician regularly. They changed Pedies a year ago when the former Doc commented that it may be a case of failure to thrive which apparently requires a mandatory report to CPS.

Congratulations on your 12th service anniversary Son.
Congratulations on your 12th service anniversary in the USAF son. I love you, I am proud of you. Keep up the great work.
Your mom and I remember dropping you off at MEPS April 12 2011 almost like it was yesterday.
Keep up the great work. 8 more years until you qualify for retirement. Stay the course my dear boy(man).
Omg! I forgot the latest IL clan update. I wonder what that means?
Maybe I am mellowing a bit.
I shared a while ago that my SIL's DH received a buy out from the company he has worked for over the past 20+ years when that employee owned company was purchased by a larger industry dominating company.
O/T: Phew. And the backlash begins.
The past 24+ hrs have been rough. For both of us.
The recent time line backstory.
Last evening after checking the mail we got a statement from our new mortgage company, we got sold, that our monthly payment was going up by $500/mo. A tax and insurance escrow shortage over the past year apparently. And the purchasing mortgage company's intent to build a two month "cushion" on our escrow. Which is not a term of our original mortgage and not going to happen. Which I will call the new mortgate company about in the AM.

When we reach the point that we want an "unbullshitified" life.
This is where my bride is now. She has finished her first week at her new firm. A truly professional, talent filled, quality environment.
"They even have documented procedures and everyone has to comply with them. The work product quality is amazing!"
She spent many hours writing them for her old firm. Only to have them criticized by the minions who have been at the old firm for countless years. She was the only one who ever used them. Her product quality, realization, and efficiency were orders of magnitude better than anyone else at the old firm.
O/T Happy Birthday to me!!! (Yesterday)
Yesterday was the 31st celebration of my 29th birthday.
It was a great day. No plans. We just went with the flow.
So, how does one celebrate their 59th B-day one may ask?
An impromptu drive to Death Valley. That may have all kinds of subconscious undercurrents.
