Got an email from Ssstb14's teacher

She's concerned about his emotional state. She says he seems obsessed with his former gf. (She broke up with him in December).

Says he walks by her desk all the time and stares at her in class. The girl also told the teacher it's starting to make her feel uncomfortable. Also said that the girl said he's acting weird at break - took his shirt off in the bushes and was "acting in appropriately with a bat"

I also took a peak at a recent text he sent to a friend where he said how horrible his life was because the girl doesn't like him and he "just cares about her so much".

Ssstb14 has no school on Friday. Bm is scheduled to pick him up after school on Friday because it's her weekend. She usually comes to our town on her Fridays to get him directly from school except during summer or vacation, we meet halfway at a much later time during the evening (because its "so unsafe" to meet at the school when school's not in session).

Ss asked if he could ask her to get him on thurs after school instead of waiting till friday night to see her.

Another night at scouts

Ssstb14 usually tags along to ds9 and 11's scout meetings on Monday night. At the beginning of the year in September, he was given the chance to join. Even though he had friends in the older troop and knew we'd be coming every week, he chose not to. This was fine with me as I was tired of signing him up for things, him not participating and then bm not bringing him in her weekend because "he didn't like it any wAy and we made him do it".

Need to Adjust the Summer Schedule with BM... should be fun!

We found out that SS's football will begin practice either the last week of june or first week of July. This means that either A) BM only gets one two week extended visit with SS this summer or Dirol She keeps her extended two week on/off schedule with DH and drives him an hour each way to his practice Mon - Sat - which is not going to happen.

I love Dr. Drew and always have. I used to listen to Love Lines way back when and learned so much from him. Now I've found his Dr. Drew Podcast and some of the things he talks about a LOT seem to be exactly what we deal with in Step Life:

1) when children have "trauma" in their lives (and this could be anything from an abusive parent to arguing parents to a divorce in the family, or even a big move away from family) this can mess with their brain chemistry and they don't learn how to regulate their emotions

Baby wakes up around 5 every morning and I can usually get her back to sleep by nursing her and lying down with her. This morning she was on and out every 20 minutes. At 6 I have dh bugging me, " lay next to me... Hold me". I'm already tired and am not in the mood for his needy ass.
But after 20 minutes I give in and flip over. He wants to hug me while the baby nurses. Every time I'm about to fall asleep he moves. I wake. Baby jars and starts nursing again.
Needless to say by 7:30 I diced to get up and am irritated by dh.

Last night dd12 wanted to go to teen night at the local church to see friends. We told ss13 that he was going too. He'd never been before and asked why he had to go. My response was so he could go hang out with friends and not just stare at a screen all night.

He pouted the entire drive over.

What a surprise. He had a great time. This morning and breakfast ds9 said he wanted to go and dh jokingly said that he could (even though he's too young). Ss groaned and mumbled under his breath as if ds9 was invading his territory.

Ss13 will be going out for the freshman football team this summer. He actually asked dh not inky if he knew how to throw a football but whether he could throw it better than he could.

Let me just rewind the tape for you.

2012. We sign ss yo for a Saturday football team. Ss pouts in the field, doesn't participate, bm refuses to bring him during her visitation and he tells dh's mom that he has no idea what is happening on the field.
